I throughly enjoyed my stay and the help I received at Levi Hospital. All of the staff were nice to me and treated me like a human being that needed help. I treated them with respect and they did the same in return. I got to meet with a doctor one on one each day I was there. My stay was 6 days. The food was awesome and so we're the snacks. I believe I am on the right medications now with the correct medical diagnosis. I made sure to stay out of my room so that I would stay out of my head. I enjoyed the day room, the activities, walking the halls if I was frustrated and colored some art work for the nurses and techs. I highly recommend Levi Hospital for behavioral and mental health.

I got a DEXA scan at Levi Hospital. From the first call, when they reached out to schedule my appointment, I found the employees to be polite and professional. And, to meet my needs, they were even willing to schedule me a little after the normal last appointment time. I was somewhat nervous about finding the DEXA department since I had never been to Levi before. However, I found clearly marked directions posted as soon as I entered the facility, and I had no trouble whatsoever making it to the correct area where I was promptly greeted by the staff member sitting at the radiology desk. The testing was quick and easy. I got my results immediately after, and Levi also had them sent to my PCP for me. Great service!

I severely shattered my collarbone 5 months ago, and required physical therapy. After doing research, and asking around, everyone recommended Levi. I'm so glad I listened. I could not have made a better choice! They were very flexible with my schedule, and provided an individualized treatment plan which included the indoor heated swimming pool that I learned has the healing waters straight from the local Hot Springs! Their radiology team monitored the healing process until the end and I now feel normal again.

The staff is friendly and Yes they throw med's at you to try and alleviate the symptoms. That's what they are for. They also set up a therapist for you when you get out for aftercare and allow you to get further help

This is honestly the best mental health facility that I have ever been to. The care is more personalized and Dr Downs actually spends time with his patients vs other facilities where you might get 5 minutes to talk to the doc. The place is clean and the staff is friendly. There where no violent outbursts among any patients the whole time I was there mainly due to the mostly calm atmosphere of the place. A few would get rowdy from time to time but no fights which is almost unheard of. The food is pretty good most days and there was a few meals I really liked! All in all this is a good place to go if you want to get better!

I was admitted here in July 2017 after a failed suicide attempt. I was not actively suicidal while at CHI St. Vincent and had calmed down, but they still FORCED me to go. This is the only psychiatric hospital I have ever been to and I really did not think it would look like the Hollywood depictions. The place was horrid, I was kept alive but I was not treated. Meds were thrown at me by a doctor who barely knew me. I was there for 2 days, and it was the worst 2 days of my life. I was diagnosed with Bipolar Disorder even though 2 days and less than an hour of interaction total is not enough time to try and diagnose that. Not to mention I later found out that EVERY OTHER PATIENT THERE was diagnosed with Bipolar disorder. There was very little to do. At most we had "group activities" that we were forced to participate in, and a day room with a few movies we could watch. There was also some crayons and coloring books. You want to know how we spent most of our time? Walking. We would walk up and down the corridor, hours on end. If we weren't "crazy" going in, we sure as hell were going to be by the time we got out. The corridor was in an "L" shape, and not very long either. I also distinctly remember seeing, an old fashioned, brown leather bed with straps. It looked archaic, images of lobotomies and electroshock therapy come to mind. The door to the room it was in was always open, but none of us ever went in there. The ONLY nice thing about this place, was that the patients there were genuinely kind. One woman who admitted herself, was initially nice, but her attitude would immediately shift and she would become defiant and refused to listen. She was only this aggressive towards staff though. I would love to be able to provide proof of that leather bed and how run down the place looked, but obviously we had our phones confiscated. Visitors also had their phones confiscated. It's funny how they never show photos of the inside of this facility (or rather just the psych ward area). If anything, it has made sure that if I ever attempt to off myself again, I'd do a damn good job of it because I would prefer death over this place.
