I’ve been with Dr Rush over 10 years and I must say he is the epitome of what a physician is supposed to be. He always seems to remember all of my ailments and shows he cares. I can’t say enough about his wonderful assistant Haley she’s the best.

Dr Rush and Nurse Haley are always just incredible. I always feel like family when I am there. These last four months I have been dealing with cancer, and when I needed to make some adjustments with appointments Nurse Haley and Dr. Rush were more than happy to help us out.

I have a chronic pain disorder due to to a car accident injury. It is not repairable, but is treatable. I was referred to Dr. Rush for trigger point injections. (I had previously been living up north, and was receiving this treatment every 5-6 months for several years.) Dr. Rush did the injections. I was treated by him at three or four appointments - 1 about every 6 months. On two occasions he ran out of injection medicine and was unable to complete all of the trigger points. At my last appointment he said, “Call us when you need us.” (about every six months.) I called when it was time for my next appointment and was told,” He referred you to - a different doctor- trigger points are not his specialty.” No one had said a word about this to me. This call to make my next appointment about 6 months later was the first I’d heard of it! I explained that to them, and requested that he please do the injections this time as I’d had no previous mention, no phone call, nothing regarding any changes and it was time for the injections. If he wanted me to see someone else for this I would, but I at least needed time to get a referral and set that up before the injections were due again. The office called me back and told me he would not do the injections. They refused my request to speak with him about it. I said I would come in and talk with him but that I really needed the injections this time. (*Too long between injections causes worsening of the muscle spasms and tightening and “ropiness” take longer to release.) The caller, Haley, (office personnel? nurse?) refused any reasonable solution and then hung up on me. I’m now left without the needed treatment, needing to obtain a new referral from my GP to this other doctor he recommended, having to make a consultation appointment with them, then a second appointment for treatment. Meanwhile I’m in pain. Initially, I gave him a good review- he’d seemed to be a caring doctor. I’ve deleted that review now. I cannot, in good conscience, recommend someone who would treat a patient that way.

After having a massive heart attack and being under the doctor's care his nurse or practitioner left me with no pain medication to deal with a broken chest plate. My second appointment was Re scheduled without my knowledge and I didn't miss the appointment. I was in the hospital till the day before it but knew I was getting out. But because of being in the hospital with triple bypass they change my appointment. I went to their office on my appointment day that was scheduled I knew that my cardiologist had planned on me going back on pain management in order to get through my triple bypass heart surgery and that I had a pain management doctor in place as I expressed to my doctor and told them I had a pain management doctor. So his assistant being Dr Rush decided she didn't want me to be seen by the doctor and left me with no pain medication to deal with a heart attack and broken chest plate as well as my standard medications for multiple injuries prior to this heart attack. I'm seeking an attorney now for negligence. Do not use this office. I definitely don't recommend this office because of the unprofessionalism that their staff provided. No phone calls back no support.

I have been in pain management since 2000. Since then, I had been treated by two different pain management doctors in two separate clinics. Out of all of the pain management treatment I've received, Dr. Rush has provided the best. He has been the most knowledgeable. I'll continue seeing Dr. Rush as long as he'll have me in his clinic.

Best pain management doctor. Great bedside manners, attentive to the patient complaints and works out effective pain management plan. Had an epidural done by him. I take very little pain meds for now. So glad he's my doctor.

Dr. Rush saw me in his office as soon as I was referred. He is very nice and interested in my well being. Very impressed with his professional demeanor and thoroughness. I highly recommend him.

I have been a patient of Dr Rush for over 15 years. He takes the time to talk with me and he always explains what’s going on with my body not just my back! We discuss all the options including new options as they come available. Without him, I may not have been able to keep working. Highly recommended.
