I chose Legacy Beach Therapy when I had knee replacement surgery and I’m so glad I did. Joel pushed me to work hard and expertly led me through rehabilitation exercises that helped me recover surprisingly quick. Joel’s attention to detail to demonstrate and patiently work with me until I could successfully do the exercises and balance movements week after week were invaluable to my recovery. I was having knee pain and instability. It had been bothering me for several weeks. Dr. Kelley recommended that I exercise using a slant board. After doing this for a few days, I could tell the difference in the level of pain and the stability of my knee. I love the slant board and the benefit it gave me. I am very thankful to Dr. Kelley for recommending it.

The care I received at Legacy Beach Therapies was top notch! Dr. Joel Kelley worked me in when I was having unbearable pain in my shoulder and could not move my arm. By the next morning the pain was gone and I had regained full function of my arm. Recently I was having knee pain. Because I had already had two surgeries on that knee, one being an ACL reconstruction, I was worried that I had damaged the kneecap or a screw had come loose. He was very knowledgeable and addressed all of my concerns. I am happy to say I am now pain free and walking normal. I highly recommend Legacy Beach Therapies and will return should I need physical therapy again!

It is obvious that Dr. Joel has an excellent understanding of therapeutic interventions. I have been to him numerous times for different issues and each time I leave feeling relief and with a better understanding of what is causing the problem, as well as exercises to do at home to continue therapy until my next appointment. Dr. Joel allows me to video the exercises so that I will remember exactly how to do the positions. He is an enthusiastic and energetic therapist. My experience has been terrific and I can’t thank Joel enough for helping me get back to playing basketball at a high level.
