The front desk staff was great and super sweet but the NP was terrible. Gave me a antibiotic come to find out I didn't need and would have made me worse. I got a second opinion and I am glad I did. The NP there did nothing but prescribe a different medicine for each of my symptoms and did not want to listen or think to test me for the simple things after I said I was around lots of sickness with my job. Also coming from someone who works in healthcare.

The reception staff is pathetically rude and unprofessional. I am looking forward to another urgent care clinic being open in Lawrence County to give patients more options. My insurance doesn’t cover urgent care visits but I was willing to pay in full out of pocket. The receptionist refused to let me be seen because I didn’t have the physical copy of my license with me even though they already have my information on file. I feel like the reason had more to do with the fact that they were closing soon rather than the license. I will not be back here. *I am editing to add that I ended up going to Lawrence Medical Center Emergency Room where I was able to receive care for something as simple as a poison oak rash that had spread rapidly. They were able to get me in and out quickly. They also informed me that because the urgent care is affiliated with the hospital that they could have ported all recent patient info from their files system. The receptionist just didn’t want to do her job. If you choose to be in health care , please do better. No patient should be treated like that for seeking medical care.

Some of the nurses were really nice but the rest of the staff was super unprofessional. They treated me like a pill seeker and told me I’d have to go to the ER for further treatment, so I had to go to another prime care in Florence and discovered within an hour that I was positive for the flu & had massive kidney stones. Could have saved so much time going somewhere else and gotten proper treatment faster.

The NP was great and listened to my concern. Can't say the same for the other staff. Called for results and was transferred around and then the person kept saying "who are you and then what do you need' in a very rude tone then interrupted me while trying to give the info then hung up before I could verify a call back number. I would never treat a client like that. Poor business but, I guess they are desperate and hire anyone.

They post that they close from 12 to 12:30, but really the close 20 minutes earlier than that, or just when they feel like it. I've been here many times, and most of the time the receptionist is very rude. I went for extreme back pain once. They sent me for an x-ray and told me there's nothing wrong with my back. I go to the chiropractor from x-rays and find out I have a bunch of vertebrae in my neck and back resting on top of each other. Very inexperienced doctors and nurses.

Hannah is hands down one of the best! I wish she were a doctor so I could have her as my primary! For the past couple of months, I have been constantly sick, feeling extremely anxious, nauseated. The works! I had went to ER's for help because i felt like something was really wrong with me. Finally, I saw Hannah. She was the first person to actually listen to my concerns. Not only did she find out what was wrong with me but she also made sure my mental health was a priority during all of this. She is probably one of the very few people that I trust with my Healthcare now! She was able to order the correct blood work to help me. She doesn't realize how grateful I am for her and to know that I'm not just crazy!

I have always had a good experience with this clinic, but I am extremely grateful for PA Blackwood being there last Friday. I had some very strange symptoms and was really sick. She talked through it and never rushed anything. She correctly diagnosed me with Rocky Mountain Spotted Fever. A very rare and very serious infection. I am so grateful that she not only recognized what was going on but began the correct treatment before the test results were in. It took almost 5 days for the blood work to come back. If she had waited I would have been in the hospital with very serious conditions. Thank you so much for taking care of me!

I’ve been to this location on several occasions. Today I’m in the waiting room and have been waiting patiently for almost an hour. Another person comes in. I let the rude woman at the window know that I need to step outside real quick. She quickly states “they won’t hunt you down!” She’s been playing on her phone staring at me the whole time. I was literally outside for LESS than a minute because I timed it!! Of course the rude woman at the desk rolls her eyes at me and says rudely “I tried to tell you they won’t hunt you down!” Then she proceeds to get up and go tell someone something I’m sure about me. You guys definitely need better people skills at this location! All the people doing behind the window are either playing on their phones or gossiping about other people because I’ve sat here and listened to it the whole time. If they don’t want to be here working they should just go home. I’m sure you could find some people with better people skills.
