I just finished an amazing 6 days of hiking in Spain thanks to Laurie! I had knee surgery in last August and let her know I absolutely needed to be able to do this long planned hike with friends. Plenty of hills and 44 miles and the knee held up perfectly. She's the best! Many of my hiking mates had seen her for a variety of things (we're getting old) and all had a great experience.

I cannot recommend Laurie enough!!! Go see her now, I wish I had gone to her immediately. Even so, after one session she fixed months of hip/hamstring issues my doctors couldn't figure out. She really personalizes PT for you! Her facility is also clean, modern and convenient. I am so thankful for Laurie's care!

If there were a sixth star Laurie would earn it with ease! I came to Laurie with a diagnosis of a torn meniscus. Surgery was recommended but I wanted to try avoid this path so I reached to Laurie. She was amazing. She worked with me to put a plan in place to strengthen my knee. Was the plan successful? Well, in August 29th, 2023 I hiked up Mount Whitney. A 23 mile hike that featured 6600 feet of elevation gain. No knee problems at all!! Thank you Laurie!!

I came to Laurie after a right shoulder rotator cuff surgery because of a long-time Tennis overuse and more recent ski accident, which caused me to dislocate the samet shoulder. My surgeon, Dr. Dillingham, is the best and he fixed it all. At follow up appointment, I asked him to recommend a physical therapist. He recommended Lauri Quinn "because she is smart", is exactly how he put it. I interviewed Laurie and explained that I intend to get back to my sports, not just to basic recovery. She told me she will assign "homework", and if I do my homework in addition to our weekly sessions, I should be able to backpack, ski and play tennis. Additionally, since she was a volleyball player on Stanford's winning team when she was a student at Stanford, she has inspired me to even aim at getting back to volleyball, as I also used to play when I was in college. After my surgery, I was supposed to keep my arm in a sling before staring PT, even at nights which meant I should be vigilant about how I position myself and how I move in my sleep. Well, one morning I woke up in such pain, I thought I had dislocated my shoulder again. I called her in panic-mode, and asked her if she would take a quick look, even though our PT sessions were not supposed to start yet. She invited me over, examined my shoulder, and what little motion I was allowed to make and assured me it was just a normal aftermath, probably from sleeping a bit awkward. It was really important for me to have that assurance. Our PT sessions consist of manual manipulation and review of the exercises she assigns to make sure I do them in good form. Then I do the "homework' she assigns - 3 times per week before our next session. She explains the logic behind each type and level of exercises she assigns, how each exercise should feel, and often has to assure me that the occasional 'crunchies' after a new exercise are expected. Sure enough eventually they go away. She even came to my home for a session where she helped me select a set of exercises to do on my TOTAL GYM, showed me how to set up the machine, and how to do them in proper form. Thanks to Laurie, I am doing so well! I've already been backpacking in August, I expect to ski in December and play Tennis in March. Maybe Volleyball next Fall. I am happy over the moon with the outcome! Did I mention I'm 70 years old? Thank you, Laurie for helping me to get my life back!

I am so grateful for the superb care that Laurie Quinn provided. I had a proximal hamstring tear which an orthopedic surgeon had predicted would take a year to heal and be prone to re-injury. After two weeks of working with Laurie Quinn, I was on a path to full recovery; and after 3 months I was back to all of my activities and stronger than before the accident. Her assessments were thorough, the interval treatment goals were realistic, and my recovery supported by great handouts which reviewed the instructions for how to do the exercises at home. Laurie is so intelligent, as well as kind and motivating. I cannot recommend her highly enough!

I wish I had discovered Laurie earlier in my life. In the past few months she has worked her magic on me and one of my sons. I have been recovering slowly from Shoulder surgery and her suggestions on exercises and the work she has done on my shoulder in only a few visits led to immediate results and a faster pace of improvement. My son who plays on his HS basketball team showed up in her studio twice on the verge of tears expecting to miss a lot of action only to find that with some work and proper taping he was back at it in a much shorter period. This was a real blessing for him and for our family. I have found Laurie to be focused on discovering the REAL issue with your injury and she is not looking to have you come back tons of times if its not necessary. Lastly - Laurie really loves her work and it shows through how focused she is and how many questions she asks to ensure she is finding the root cause. I found Laurie on the recommendation of a friend who said his whole family had received help from Laurie and i am so grateful for that introduction.

I have required Laurie's expertise two times over the last six months.....once for a shoulder injury and once for a lower spine issue. Laurie is competent, a terrific listener, and will never give up thinking of different approaches to resolving issues. (I once left PT with strong tape holding my buttocks up to see if my SI joint was the issue...and it definitely helped.) Most recently I followed her core regime for 6 weeks faithfully as instructed and my symptoms effecting my left leg have almost disappeared. I highly recommend anyone to Laurie. She has many resources at her fingertips and is well connected to a competent medical community. Laurie is an A + therapist.
