Laughing Giraffe Therapy

Our family has been working with Laughing Giraffe for more than 2 years. I have to say this is a really wonderful place. Aaron is a very kind, loving and accepting therapist. Most of all he is very creative. He has tons of ideas to play with kids and address different goals base on their needs. My son loves this place! Highly recommend!

My son's OT at Laughing Giraffe Therapy has made a huge difference in our lives! Our therapist is kind, resourceful, and flexible, and he always sees the best in my child. He has been a tremendous source of encouragement and information for all of us. My son genuinely loves coming to Laughing Giraffe for therapy. The facility is jam-packed with activities, materials, and equipment, all perfectly organized, clean and safe. We couldn't be happier about being part of the LGT family!

Since my son started his therapy with his OT, only few weeks ago, I saw a huge improvement in his behavior, self-esteem and less negativity in his speech. Nina is very knowledgeable, she understood quickly his needs and was able to propose him a plan right after his first session. I was looking for someone aware about the archaic reflex, and she is! My son loves to come back every week for his session even if some session asked him to work on frustration 😂. I can only recommend Laughing Giraffe Therapy, you will not be disappointed !

We love Laughing Giraffe OT. My son sees Cassie for weekly sessions around deepening his self-regulation and social skills. Cassie is kind, responsive, and incredibly responsive in every way. My son gets very sad when he has to miss a session because he finds them both fun and helpful. He’s able to articulate the skills that he’s learning at Laughing Giraffe and how the strategies help him.

LGT has been nothing short of wonderful for our little one on the autism spectrum. He attends OT sessions with Elana once a week and we've seen a lot of improvement in his fine motor skills. Elana makes sure to check in with us regarding goals, maintain consistency in activities and making sure the experience is fun and engaging for our child. Since LGT is not associated to any insurance providers, it gives them the added flexibility of working on skills typical insurance-funded OT providers would not, which is a huge plus for me. 100% recommend this place!

We have been with Laughing Giraffe Therapy for OT for my son for over a year, and we find that they are great place for private therapy! Therapists are knowledgeable & patient and Aaron and office staff are attentive and give their personal time to make sure that you are served if you are on their waiting list! I only wish more therapists accepted insurance, but that may be more a reflection of insurance companies than private therapists! I would recommend LG very highly!

When I initially reached out to Aaron at the Laughing Giraffe in the summer 2022 he had the phone lines transferred to his cell phone and happened to be grocery shopping when he answered my call. He said "if you don't mind grocery shopping with me I would love to discuss why you are calling." From there we spoke for close to 45 minutes about what my 8 year old daughter was struggling with, what we were already doing, what we were hoping to get out of adding OT into her therapy, and what the Laughing Giraffe clinic could provide. Aaron really listened (didn't brush me off or talk over me) and when he brought up certain ideas it felt like we were thinking the exact same thing. Once the initial conversation happened we got put on a wait-list and within a few weeks I received an email from one of the Occupational Therapist's, Zane, letting me know he had an opening if we could make the day/time work. We have been with Zane for almost a year and we couldn't be luckier. He is AMAZING! He immediately developed a rapport with my daughter & our family. We look forward to ever session. My daughter doesn't even realize how hard she is working but she works so hard in each session. Zane has developed so much trust with her and it's amazing to see the development from session to session. In addition to knowing exactly how to work with my daughter, Zane has the most attentive listening and observation skills so when I need to share something sensitive during a session he can pick up on the concern without either of us letting my daughter know. He has also been an extremely vital resource for me that I can share challenges and he will take those into account for sessions moving forward. Not to mention he has been a part of several conversations with her teachers and collaborated with her other therapists to ensure we are all working together best to provide the best support and tools for my daughter. Zane is compassionate, energetic, knowledgeable, and most important he cares so much! This journey would be so much more challenging if we did not have the support of Zane & Aaron.

We are so grateful to have found Laughing Giraffe. Our occupational therapist is Cassie and she is amazing! She is patient, and lets my son take the lead while also setting good boundaries. My son absolutely loves his weekly sessions.
