Elise and her staff are extremely professional and knowledgeable. I’ve had the wonderful experience of having a child go through their program and also attended training by Elise that has allowed me to have a better understanding of sensory needs for the children in my preschool class. Her dedication to each and every child is a blessing. We went to Elise at a time that was extremely difficult and confusing for my family. Elise and her staff not only provided our son with amazing OT service, but went so beyond that. She helped us make sense of his world and guided us in how to be the best parents we could be for our child. Finding out your child is autistic can be so overwhelming, but Lamp Post goes above and beyond to help everyone in the family adjust and thrive. My son was four when we started at Lamp Post and even though he’s now 12 and graduated from the program several years ago, I will never forget the impact Elise had on his and my life. We LOVE Lamp Post!!

I found Lamp Post Therapy Center right after finding out that my three year old son had sensory processing disorder. They were a safe haven for me to learn more about my son and his challenges. The staff is fabulous, caring and professional. My son worked with Elise and other therapists for almost two years, and my son was able to enter kindergarten more than prepared. He is now in his first year of middle school and thriving. I will never forget how much Lamp Post helped my son.

We all have different journeys and different expectations, therefore, I don’t like to impose my beliefs on others. I must make an exception in this case!!! I have incredible faith in and respect for each therapist at the Lamp Post. I wouldn’t send my child anywhere else! Every employee pours love and attention into every member of my family (even the ones not seeking therapy). The owner, creator and lead therapist, Elise Caton is brilliant. She understands the human mind and body better than most. She provides a practical, loving, and effective form of therapy which has changed my son’s life. My daughter worked with Elise and other therapists over the course of 4 years. It is my belief the work she did while there has been immeasurable. Her self esteem and confidence is higher and she has amazing skills when it comes to body awareness and balance. i am forever in debt for the medical, professional, and emotional support as we went through a very challenging phase of my daughter's life. We have moved from Gainesville and have yet to find another OT provider of their caliber. I have recommended their services to many people and they have all been happy with the results.

Lamp Post is an amazing facility! The owner, Elise, takes the time to not only provide amazing Therapy to her clients, but she also gives back to her community. She has opened up her facility to have students come in and learn about OT and sensory integration, and as an OT student, I am so grateful for this experience!

My two year old daughter has severe CP along with some other medical complexities. It is not uncommon to encounter therapists who are intimidated by or put off by all that she has going on. Lamp Post has been a huge help to us both in our home and in their facility. They have created an environment that even the most sensitive children can learn and grow in. The entire staff is so kind and considerate and the therapists are brilliant and intuitive. I'm so pleased with the progress my little girl is making and so thankful for the people here who pour into her.
