Everyone is very nice and respectful of the situation each and everyone is in and their loved ones. The service is top notch and my mother's rehabilitation has been way better than the last place she was at, the food is better too. I would definitely go here myself if I broke my ankle as bad as my mom did. Honestly I would rate it a 9/10 the only thing that I would suggest is a catering service for more meal choices so that there's more options for everyone's different tastes that and a few more power outlets around the rooms as there's not many in the beautiful and spacious rooms with very high ceilings and large spacious bathrooms with walk in showers in every room.

Our experience at Lakewood Post Acute was exceptional from start to finish. My mother was admitted after a major surgery, and as a family, we were naturally concerned about her recovery and well-being. However, the staff at Lakewood Post Acute quickly put our minds at ease. The nurses and aides were always attentive, ensuring that my mother was comfortable and that her pain was well-managed. What stood out to us the most was the genuine compassion shown by the entire team. They didn’t just care for her physical needs; they took the time to sit with her, listen to her concerns, and make her feel cared for in every sense. This human touch made all the difference during what was a very stressful time for our family. The facility itself is bright and welcoming, with plenty of spaces for family visits. The administrative staff was also very accommodating, helping us navigate insurance issues and ensuring that everything was handled smoothly. The rehabilitation services were top-notch. My mother worked with a team of therapists who tailored her recovery plan to her specific needs. They were encouraging but also realistic, helping her set achievable goals. We were thrilled with the progress she made during her stay, and when it was time for her to go home, she was much stronger and more independent than we had expected. I can’t thank the team at Lakewood Post Acute enough for the care and support they provided during a challenging time. I would recommend this facility to anyone seeking quality post-acute care.

My mom was seen there recently and they really went above and beyond. Beautiful property, attentive staff, and my mom really loved the provided activities like bingo. Shout out to Lindsay! I believe she’s in upper management. She was so sweet and available for all my random questions.

My father’s experience at Lakewood Post Acute was nothing short of amazing. The team treated him like family and were always there to meet his needs with a smile. The facility is clean, modern, and provides a comfortable atmosphere for residents. We felt confident knowing he was in such good hands

I was admitted to Lakewood over 3 hours ago, directly from the hospital after back surgery. Unfortunately, my experience so far has been less than welcoming. I was placed in a room without any proper introduction or explanation of how things work here, which is frustrating when you're already in pain and unsure of your surroundings. The biggest issue, however, is that I still haven’t received my medication, which is leaving me in agony. I've been lying here in tears, and it’s extremely disheartening. I’m left wondering if this is the standard procedure for new patients—because if so, it's unacceptable. I’ve honestly considered calling an Uber to take me home and manage my care on my own. UPDATE: After 5 days of repeatedly raising concerns with every nurse I encountered, my medications finally started being handled properly. It took far too long to realize that assigning two nurses to administer each dose was the only way to ensure accuracy. While the staff did eventually address my concerns—likely because they knew I was documenting my experience—the process should have been much smoother from the start. The staff here were generally kind and tried to accommodate my needs, but I believe this facility desperately needs an audit on how they manage medication distribution. It was concerning how often my oxycodone was either missing or given as a half-dose. Additionally, despite informing them of my gluten-free diet, many of my meal trays contained gluten. This lack of attention to dietary restrictions added another layer of frustration to an already difficult recovery.

From the moment we walked through the doors at Lakewood Post Acute, we knew we had made the right choice for my aunt’s recovery. The staff was incredibly warm and welcoming, and they took great care to make sure all her needs were met. She’s doing so much better now, thanks to the wonderful care she received. Highly recommend this facility!
