Aunt Connie seemed happier here at Lakewood than she did at the house she currently lived at in Jacksonville prior to living in Bryant, AR for 35 years. Thank y’all for everything that everyone did for her to love staying there and taking care of her during her short stay. In loving memory. We love you Aunt Connie 8/13/1947 - 9/5/2023

So where do I begin lol..One of the worse nursing homes I’ve ever been in..it’s hot as **** nobody acknowledges you until you’re halfway in the building that’s if anybody acknowledges you at all! Staff is very unprofessional especially if they call and tell you that you only have 2-3 days to come pick up your loved one and send you home with NOTHING like medications! it’s like they were all just chilling and hanging out rather than attending to patients, no face mask, no work scrubs most just had on street clothes with they stomachs hanging all out. Only about a handful of the staff were actually nice, nurse on duty had a terrible attitude, they like to put you on speaker phone so everybody else can hear the conversation..I was trying to keep this short But that didn’t work so if you care about your loved one definitely find another place to go

My step sister is here for a couple of weeks to recover from surgery. The place looks nice and the staff I talked to were professional. They have a big curly haired dog that stays here to provide extra comfort to the patients and guest. There was a little girl having a great time playing with him. They have a lot of things going on each week for entertainment. My step sister was bragging about rootbeer float day the day before.

I had opportunity to work for Lakewood and it was by far, my favorite job in 22 years. Unfortunately, circumstances forced me to make a decision and I left, reluctantly. My son had a very bad wreck this summer and I just had too much on me. The administrator doesn't micro manage and the DON is a tough lady who gets it done. This facility cares about the residents, the relationships with the families and they really do care about their nursing staff, and treat them fairly. I would totally trust them with the care of my grandparents/parent. This facility doesn't get the recognition they deserve.

DO NOT LET THEM PUT YOUR LOVED ONE HERE!!! It’s hot, smells like pee, they have yet to give him meds but are quick to do it while I’m standing there….and they’re very rude and disrespectful with your loved one so if you care about them do not do this to them!!!!!! READ your reviews and do something or I’m calling human services!!!!!

My great grandmother has lived here for a couple years now, the staff is like her second family and they say she’s she one taking care of them lol! Hardly anyone has ever seen people get better once they are in nursing homes but she is thriving! She is the bingo queen and wins more things then she has room for. Praying for this facility facing covid-19.

The management and staff at Lakewood is truly amazing. My mom has been in their care for almost 3 years. They have not only cared for her they have genuinely shown love to her. They go above and beyond what is expected of them.

Wonderful, caring staff. My sister was treated with kindness, respect and compassion. Our family was very involved in her daily care. It was evident the staff were trying to make a sad situation bearable for her and our family.
