Lake Centre for Rehab Physical Therapy The Villages, Florida - Colony

This rehab center is the best! I recently used the Colony office for strengthening my arm to prepare for shoulder surgery. Everyone was friendly and professional. Unlike the past centers I have used (5), someone stayed by my side the entire time I was doing the exercises to see that I was doing them correctly, they were not chitchatting with other therapists. I progressed much more quickly than I anticipated and am thrilled with the results. I will definitely go there again after the surgery. I highly recommend Lake Rehab!

I came to Lake Center for Rehab with severe arthritic pain in my left shoulder. I attended therapy sessions twice a week for six weeks. Brad was my intake and lead therapist who evaluated my shoulder and who worked with me most often. On occasion I would see someone else and found each therapist to be kind, capable, and professional who followed a consistent therapy plan throughout. After I was into a few sessions, I went home with exercises to do In between my sessions at the facility. After six continuous weeks, today was my last day and I am very pleased to say my pain has diminished considerably. If you want results from rehab therapy, I highly recommend Lake Center for Rehab. I can assure you, you will be happy and better off for it.

I was a patient at Lake Centre for Rehabafter a hospital stay. Wow what a team!! Brad, Demaree and student Emily were amazing! They were compassionate, knowledgeable and made rehab fun. I am very pleased with my progress. My goal was to return to golfing and with their guidance I am back with a vengeance!! I thank you all from the bottom of my heart!❤️

I was referred by my podiatrist to the Villages Rehab near Colony Plaza for plantar fasciitis in my foot. Because the exercises they were giving me weren't very helpful, physical therapist Brad Collett suggested that I might want to consider dry needling in my foot. I can't explain it, other than to say that it is very similar to acupuncture. I wasn't thrilled about having a bunch of needles stuck in my leg and foot, but once Brad started, I didn't feel any of the needles as he inserted them, and the process started working! Once a week Brad did the dry needling and I was an instant convert! I continued for a few weeks and today the plantar fasciitis is almost completely gone. One very small spot continues to hurt very slightly, but Brad couldn't stick a needle in that area because there is no muscle in that spot. I have completed my rehab with Brad and I'm thrilled with the results!!! I highly recommend this treatment for plantar fasciitist, and quite possibly for any other areas they might recommend. Don't be turned off by the needles because they are so small that you don't even feel them being inserted! Give it a try!!! Lynn

Lake Center for Rehab at Colony was so valuable for my recent recovery from my second knee replacement. I worked with Brad and Demara, both skilled , patient, and highly encouraging! The staff behind the desks at reception were organized and always cheerful! It was a 100% positive experience…….highly recommend!!!

I was very happy with Sydneys physical evaluation and treatment. She was extremely knowledgeable. I give her high marks. She has helped me so much. I also want to let you know that Katie also was extremely helpful during my treatment

My first encounter to schedule my rehab was warm friendly and efficient. My initial intake was adequate, but then I was assigned to my Physical Therapist who I saw for my final 13 or 14 sessions. Her name is Sydney Shaw at the Colony location. I don’t have enough words to describe how wonderful my time with her was. She is an angel. Smart, positive, upbeat and very, very effective. My torn shoulder is much better and I hope to play golf again soon. The word to describe her is “healer “.I looked forward to each time I was to see her. How lucky I was to find Sydney. She is a shining light.

Lake centre for Rehab was awsome. Sidney Shaw was outstanding working my issue hard but always finishing my exercises by massaging and stretching my arm. I can not say enough about the whole experince it definitly helped me.
