Lake Centre for Rehab Physical Therapy The Villages, Florida - Brownwood

After extensive back surgery Lake Centre for Rehab was recommended by both my Orthopedic Physician and my PCP... I have been extremely satisfied. All on the PT team are true professionals, thorough and knowledgeable. I have made great progress with their help. They assess my needs each visit and proceed to what needs to be done and I've never been disappointed. You don't realize the progress you've made until you look back 4-6 weeks ago and realize how much you can do now that you couldn't do then. I would highly recommend the professionals at LCR in Brownwood to anyone needing Outpatient PT.

UNETHICAL BILLING PRACTICES. I had prearranged my insurance coverage with Lake Centre. The billing office has neglected to send treatment claims to my insurance for payment. After repeated conversations with billing, they said they would submit the claims to my insurance. Now I am being harassed by a collection agency they sent my account to. Now they tell me it's out of there hands. They will not submit to my insurance. I guess they want the ridiculous cash price not my insurance contracted amount. I have written multiple letters and made multiple calls to lake centre for rehab. They will not help. I will never recommend them.

Hello neighbors and friends, I recently have had some lower back pain that just would not go away. So after more than a year passed I went to see DR. Heinrich the pain management specialist at The Orthopedic Institute. Doctor Heinrich told me that there was nothing seriously wrong based on an MRI that she requested. She recommended Physical Therapy as a first step in treating my aching back. Dr Heinrich recommended that I use Lake Center for Rehab which is located in the Brownwood Healthcare Center in the Villages. As of this date I have had ten ½ hour therapy appointments and I am astonished at how my pain level has decreased to about 5% of what it was two months ago. My improvement is due to the superb care provided by Megan Holmes, Elizabeth Acosta and Jennifer Caswell. These three therapists have guided me through all ten of my rehab appointments. They made sure that the stretches and strengthening exercises were the correct ones for me and that I did them properly. They treated me courteously and respectfully, answered all of my questions and gave me a plan for home use to maintain my back pain free. I can honestly on a 1 to 10 scale give all of them 10.

I worked with several therapist at the Brownwood location following total knee replacement. Although I had several complications, they were patient and supportive and kept me motivated. I worked with Jennifer, Nick, Megan, Mickey and Ashton. I appreciate all of their work and effort. I would highly recommend this center for your physical therapy needs.

I received outstanding PT from Nadine Gibson. Her understanding and professionalism is to be commended. I would not hesitate to tell my friends about how good of an experience I had in her care.

I started my rehab journey at Lake Centre for Rehab-Brownwood the day after discharge from the hospital after a Total Knee replacement. There were many times that I was very discouraged by my progress but thanks to the encouragement of my physical therapists and assistants I did not give up. They were so supportive! Nick went above and beyond in keeping me motivated with positive reinforcement. Can’t say enough about how helpful he was. I also had excellent care from Nadine and Elizabeth! Amazing how knowledgeable these people are. And last but not least Megan and Mickey. Megan saw me at my worst- my 1st visit, and Mickey followed me during my last few weeks and discharged me. Kudos to all of them! They are top notch! Lake Centre for Rehab is the only facility that I will use and recommend. I have tried 2 others in the area and there is no comparison. Megan Holmes is a blessing to my wife. Following are my wife Andrea’s words: MEGAN is extremely knowledgable in her profession as a Physical Therapist and I benefitted from her education AND wisdom! She was in tune with all my body reactions, as well as doctor’s orders, as we worked through my exercise routine. On top of her professionalism, there is a humane side to her that resulted in my giving 100% to our workouts. Being retired for over a decade, 6 AM is not in my time clock. However, I quickly learned the early bird catches the benefits of Megan Holmes #77! My life has changed because I feel better than i had felt in at least 4 years. The 2 therapists I have met are great. However, I can't get more than one appointment per week. I'm even on the cancellation list, with no openings.
