⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️Throughout my athletic journey, I've had the privilege of working with many physical therapists, and I have to say that Dr. Kim stands out as an extraordinary practitioner. Her deep understanding of the human body goes beyond just the basics; she brings a holistic perspective that truly recognizes how all our bodily systems connect. I began working with Kim when I attempted to start running for the first time back in July 2023. I attempted to do it on my own and quickly realized that I would not be able to when my knee became increasingly sore until I could barely walk. Kim was able to provide treatment as well as a running and strength training plan that allowed for me to not only recover but excel. It started with running/walking, to ultimately running a 5k, 10k, and half marathon, and more. I completed my first marathon earlier this month and I would not have been able to do it without the tools that Kim provided me with. I never would have thought I would be running a marathon let alone signing up for another one without the help and motivation from Kim. She is the best in the business!

I worked with Kim after having a mysterious knee pain pop up. Having played volleyball for 12 years up to a professional level, I thought I had a good grasp on my aches and pains. After going to Kim, I was able to start successfully treating my knee pain and get back to playing. She was extremely flexible with treatment as some days were worse than others! When my shin splints flared up, Lakás was recommended to me by my running coach, and I'm so glad they were! I've been working closely with Dr. Ankita Roy, who has gone above and beyond for me. She really takes the time to listen to your goals and makes a plan that works to get you right there. My shin splints eventually resolved and I was able to not only get to my half marathon in good health but also get a massive PR! The team is very professional, knowledgeable, but most of all, friendly and inviting. I will always recommend Lakás to all my active friends who ever need PT because they are truly top notch!

I've been seeing Dr. Kim since February 2024, and I'm doing things I've never done before, not only to address the issue that began my time with Dr. Kim, but also to improve my flexibility and core, and prepare me for the CIM, my first marathon. My son started to see Kim for knee pain that he was having. Kim's patience in working with a teenager is much appreciated. She was able to work with him to determine what was causing the pain so that she could provide the appropriate treatment needed for him to heal. He was able to overcome his pain and excel in his sports.
