L.A. Urgent Care & Occupational Medicine

The chunky ( being nice) Front desk receptionist was rude and unprofessional! I let her know that the way she was speaking to me was inappropriate ( as if i was a peasant tuh! ) they need to hire better staff and not lazy ones that can’t keep the patient flow going! Expect to wait 1-2 hours for a simple drug screening and definitely expect them to be rude to you! Im a nurse myself and would NEVER speak to people the way they speak to the patients, DO BETTER! ( update, its clear that the front desk receptionist still decided to be unprofessional in her reply to my review at the bottom. It clearly speaks for itself and yes you we’re rude and UNPROFESSIONAL as i stated! Next, big back)

Worst urgent care employees I love the doctors at this facility but when it comes to supervisors and management no one wants to work. The wait was sad while the workers eat and no one gets attention is quite irritating but to find someone willing to work that is certified and confident to do the work(blood draw) is near to impossible. The lady that did the blood draw on me kept asking every student in the room to take care of me but no one was experienced and willing to do the work without having to question what they have to do. I would never get blood drawn here I had to reject the student who was obviously new to this job and had to ask them to get an employee to do their job. I wanted to leave I felt like a accident could’ve happened and I’m sure it happens quite often considering how lazy the workers are. How are you appointing blood draw but aren’t supervising the new extern student you are training. Owner please take care of this incredible risk and liability someone will get hurt if this clinic continues running like this. Extern should not complete any type of injection or blood draw without supervision PLEASE hire new management and staff or just teach them to do their job.

Called about urgent visit, asked what would be the price without insurance out of a pocket and received an answer - WHAT DO YOU MEAN WITHOUT INSURANCE. Then asked what is the price to visit a doctor and answered it STARTS from 225, then asked price for x ray - never been answered, rude answer - I already answered you the price and then she dropped the phone. Simple drug test, but waited over an hour. To them its a challenge they seem unprofessional and lazy. Place is a slum in the worst area building looks like liquor store.

This is the place to go if you have an injury. The staff and physician are very friendly and listen to your concerns. I went in for back pain after about two weeks of returning to the chiropractor my pain subsided. Even after I felt less pain the physician was willing to send me to physical therapy to help me even further. The wait time is short compared to ER. I truly recommend this urgent care.

I am a business owner, and one of my employees slipped and fell, landing on her back. I sent her there and they were able to see her with little/no wait! She had x-rays, they gave her an injection, and sent her back to work with restrictions. I asked the doctor to call me before she left, and he did within an hour of her arrival. I couldn't believe it! At the other industrial clinic, my employees waited 2-3 hours! I am definitely switching to L.A. Urgent Care.

I made an appointment online for Monday December 13th at 8:00 am with Dr. Quesada for my wifes physical exam. We get to the location and it was closed. The front receptionist opened up with no urge at 8:06. We were both already showing up late to work and the the receptionist said that Dr. doest show up till 9:30 am. We left, thank you for not letting us know that information.

Doctor Abel Quesada helped me out with the up most professionalism like great doctor would in any prestigious hospital or clinic. He helped me get control of my weigh problem like none else has ever. I went from 268LB to an amazing 215 in a period of 7 weeks. I feel great and 15 years younger. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!
