Kings Healthcare and Wellness is a great place to work. We are family orientated and our patients come first. Would not exchange the team for anything.

I think the state should really investigate this place. They should send in regular people to see how they really are. The head people and some of the staff pick and choose who they want to treat well. They messed up on my mom’s medication. They sent her home knowing she was still sick. She was home 3 hours and ended up in the hospital. After 3 days they sent her back in to a rehab. The rehab she is in now, is so much better.

The staff was overall decent. However, the lead nurse/nursing director Jaime was outright rude, condescending and generally ill informed.

My dad spent the last 2 1/2 years of his life at Kings Nursing and Rehab, and he passed away so well loved by the staff. I can’t say enough about the kindness, respect, and love they showed him. He loved sitting out front in their beautiful, well cared for yard, so peaceful and serene. When I went to collect his things I was greeted with many hugs and tears from staff members. I never felt like he was in a nursing facility, it felt more like home away from home. If you need to place your loved one in a care facility, I highly recommend this one.

The facility has recently been renivatied and looks great! They gym area is top quality for rehab. My family member told me the staff was caring and attentive.

The communication, or lack there of, is ridiculous. Two minutes after I'm being told by PT that my mom is being discharged (which by the way, I only found out because I went to ask about her progress since NOBODY had talked to me since she arrived almost three weeks ago) I was told by nurses that she was not being discharged and they see nothing on the computer about it. They are also trying to charge almost $400 per day as she has exceeded the amount of full coverage by insurance, even though I was told by a nurse there, a representative from her insurance and have documents stating it should only be $100 per day until the 100th day. These have been my only problems with the facility, but I think they are some pretty serious issues.

I have personally had my uncle in this facility 3 times in the past several years. He always leaves stronger and in a better health condition! Staff treated him amazingly and therapy was wonderful. Only downside was his weight gain as he absolutely loved the food!! 🥰
