Kindred Hospital Baldwin Park

If you’re looking for a facility that will fully care about your loved one, this is the place. My father was admitted here the beginning of October. I just want to say the facility is very clean, the staff the nurses, the respiratory therapists, Ray the patient advocate… they were all so compassionate, and helpful. The nurses took good care of my father. I definitely recommend Kindred Hospital Baldwin Park to anyone that needs quality care for their loved one. Thank you to everyone!

When I got here, I felt I was about to die. Pain was terrible and was contained by the doctors. All the nurse are really great specially Charisse, Di. Nothing surprises me because they perform well. I would always thank this hospital for keeping me alive. My Physical therapist are all great they make me work harder to live and I am alive and very encouraging.

My brother was brought here, he stayed about three weeks, and after so much detailed care, he started to breathe on his own, eat normally, and move around freely.. he goes home today happy.. we owe warm thanks to so many good nurses, staff, physicians, and administrators. Huge thanks to my brother’s doctor Saab, case manager Viviana, the RT the PT, particularly Sharon, Romeo, Salvador, John.. and not to forget Ray, Samantha, and the supervisor nurse for their compassion and care…

This facility provided poor care to my loved one. I had to tell the LVN Felix to change the wet dressings and to remove an old bandage that was left behind and was cutting into the skin. I also found out that they were not giving the medication that was prescribed . As in many cases there are very few RN’s that do care to do their job but there are many that should reconsider their position. If you get to choose where to place your loved ones, please consider another facility.

I recently visited my brother-in-law in unit 300 and was truly impressed by the room's cleanliness. The nurses were attentive and courteous, taking the time to thoughtfully answer all my questions. The admitting staff also stood out for their consistent friendliness and welcoming demeanor. Thank you to all the staff for making my experience so pleasant—I truly appreciate your hard work!

My mom was admitted to this facility after tracheostomy surgery. We are pleased with the attention, care and dedication the staff has shown her. It definitely has given us a peace of mind to know she is in good hands when we aren’t able to be there. Thank you Kindred Baldwin Park Doctors, Nurses and specialist for the attentive care you have provided my mom during this difficult time.

My father was very sick (Bakersfield) and after plenty of treatment, we ended here after a recommendation we had received. To say the least, my father went from “he’s not going to make it” in Bakersfield to “your father is doing a lot better.” The doctors and nurses are very caring, let alone the receptionists who treat my mother with the upmost respect when she comes to visit my dad daily. Personally, I would love to shoutout a few nurses that have made our hope for my father grow more and more, allowing us to rest assured when visiting hours are over: Thank you Geraldine, Ana, Ferdinand, Gris, Irma, Claudia, Esperanza, and there’s a few more I just can’t think of their names at the moment!! Also, huge thanks to Ray, who’s very reassuring, and to the RT’s (the guys that specialize in respiration) who are very helpful when trying to understand the machines our loved ones are connected to!!! Thank you Salvador (physical therapist), or should I say Chava as my father calls you!! You are all amazing people doing God’s work! May God keep you all under his watch, and may he bless you all for the care you provide to the patients here at Kindred! THANK YOU!!

I was doing my rotation at kindred Baldwin park for my nursing school rotation and the staff were excellent and taught me a lot! I was able to get a good rounded education and learned excellent patient care. I will definitely consider applying here after graduation because I like the quality and standard that kindred holds for all of their staff!
