My daughter started at Kids in Motion back in 2019 and I cannot believe I've never come and done a review for the therapy office that changed her life. Before Kids in Motion, my daughter struggled to sit through any therapy appointments without crying. Their incredible patience in all areas helped her develop the skills to tolerate more and more therapy time. Debbie, her speech therapist has seen potential in our sweet girl since day one. When we were told by doctors that Georgia wasn't "smart enough" for a communication device, Debbie and Kids in Motion advocated and got her one. It's completely changed her life to be able to communicate and express herself. Katie, her PT, I always describe as like a big sister to Georgia. She and Georgia have grown close over the years, and Katie has always believed that our girl could do anything, even when Georgia sometimes doesn't believe in herself. She has pushed Georgia and helped her grow stronger and more independent. Tammy, the office manager, stays on top of literally everything. I don't know how she does it, but it's been so amazing watching her help Kids in Motion grow over the years. Trish & Susan have both been instrumental in Georgia's development, and believed in her always. Trish is just an absolute light in this world and her love for differently-abled children shines from her daily. She is one of the more inspiring humans I've met. Susan is so knowledgeable and talented in everything she does. And I respect seeing her constantly strive to learn and grow more in her craft. Sharon is probably one of Georgia's favorite people. She's able to get my daughter to do pretty much anything 🤣 even the things she blatantly won't do for me. She has so much patience and kindness for all the kids who enter their doors. I could honestly go on and on about the team at Kids in Motion. They've created a family out of their patients and I think it's the most incredible thing. I know most of the other kids who go there by name and am honored to witness each child grow. They also hold events often for the kiddos and their families to bond and relax, which is always amazing. Our fave is the annual "Water Day" where the kids can just play and it's completely accessible. They've also been incredibly open to suggestions and anything that can improve the experience for the child. They have such an incredible approach with parents to create a team like environment. This office honestly changed my daughter's life for the better and I cannot thank them enough. I can't imagine who she'd be without the team at Kids in Motion.

They have a great staff. Tammy takes care all the paperwork. If your child needs care she will work hard to get what you need. The techs are energetic and have your child's needs a priority. Your child will blossom here. They won't be the same child just after a few visits. Your child will beg to go every week. It's a fun house not a work house. They make sure all children have a good experience and all the equipment they need to be healthy and happy. They know other people who can meet your needs. Just ask them or check the book in the waiting area

WOW! I cannot say enough good things about the staff, atmosphere, techniques, rapport with their "guests". Yes I said guests!! From the time you drive up and are greeted by one of the best mascots to the time you leave it feels like home and family. During my grandson's entire 2 FULL hours there was laughter, encouragement, and choices with him and the rest of us in there. Parents are NOT pushed to a waiting area and left out of the conversations and therapy. My grandson (now 12years old) had been with another therapist for approximately 10+years and for the past few years he dreaded going to her, she didn't talk to him or interact with him and would keep on the SAME therapy she wanted him to do before moving on. It was truly heartbreaking lately. Christa & Mindy would tell him what the next activity is and if he wasn't that excited they did another one & then came back to the one they wanted & he was fine with it. If you are looking for a great place for the type of therapy they do I do not think you will be disappointed. THEY ARE WONDERFUL.

I want to say that the therapist are complete GOLD! Especially Crystal! She’s a one in a million. My issue is with the front-end staff. Tammy has the worse attitude I’ve ever seen and I’ve worked for a doctor’s office for several years. I hate it everytime I have to interact with her. Today was the last straw. She made comment about not allowing my child to continue care because we have a balance. Her words were “ I would but since your balances are high…” Mind you I don’t pay the balances when they are due because they don’t bill properly, so I wait until things are settled, which has resulted in significantly less balances. Even so, we’ve paid out of pocket for over year now. There was no reason for her to stop my child’s care over “I would”. That means she could have just let him come but no. She canceled his appointments. If Tammy is working there, just find another provider. Dealing with her just isn’t worth the trouble. If she doesn’t have compassion for children, why does she work there?

These people are awesome! If u want someone who's honest, dependable, someone who sees nothing positive results. We went through 4 therapists with 2 different company's telling us our son with CP wasn't going to be capable and couldn't help him but we didn't give up and I can't tell you how blessed we were to find Susan and kids in motion. We've been with her for 6 yrs now and she's made it possible wether snow sleet or hail she's been there and every time we hit a wall they turned it into a door that we could open. They have the experience, equipment, connections, and most of all they care and that's what matters. Thanks everyone with kids in motion thank you.
