I started working at KNRC September and most places over look their faults and ALL places have them. KNRC is genuine and working hard to overcome any that come to their attention. Great place to work!

Beginning in August of 23, unexpectedly, it became necessary that I step in as my sister’s caregiver. Because of many medical issues, we began the process, of having her stay at the Kenton Nursing & Rehabilitation Center. There were many questions and uncertainties on my part as to how this would work best for her and ensure she would get the proper care. The administrator and staff were amazing through it all; they were receptive and helpful to my questions while we were going through the approval process. Her primary care nurse was so caring and her concern for my sister was very genuine. It was not just a job for her, you could see that she loves her work and all the people entrusted with her care. Unfortunately, my sister’s stay was shorter than anticipated as she was called home to the Lord after only 6 months. The last few weeks, Hospice was brought in, and the organization recommended by the nursing home was outstanding. They treated my sister with love and laughter, all the while giving her the respect and dignity she deserved. Thank you all! May God bless you and your facility.

I would NOT recommend sending your loved one here. If your loved one needs assisted living or therapy you will not receive adequate care here. The place reeks of urine daily, which should have been our first indication of the facility and residence not being properly cared for. Update - My father week after week did not get physical therapy and would just lie in bed. They would say they weren’t able to do therapy due to his heart rate being high and blood pressure low, however they never addressed the root cause of that. They would say, it was “his baseline”. My father went to his dr for his scheduled checkup and they advised that his resting heart rate of 118-120 was NOT anyone’s baseline and advised that it was due to him being SEVERELY dehydrated and he was immediately admitted into the hospital. He did not return to this facility after that! He is currently at another facility getting therapy, even walking on a walker!

My grandmother lived here for years and the staff treated her as family . We really appreciate the passion that was received during her final days.

It was a great event for the public with free food and raffles for bikes. There were also games and snacks.
