Keefe Memorial Hospital

I have had to visit this place a couple of times for a couple of different reasons. I have to be honest, there is one nurse, then I know of that doesn't have a very good bedside manner.ALL other nurses that I have dealt with have had a very good, great bedside manner. The doctors are not local. They actually come down from places such as Denver and Colorado Springs. The couple of doctors that I saw had good, great bedside manner. I was told what was going to be done to me before it was done. Such as blood drawings, if you'll be on a sailing trip or a medication drip and if you want an explanation of the medication drip they will explain it for you, X-ray, etc. They listen very well and they answer any questions you have that way you can understand instead of just getting doctor language. The rooms that I was in were very clean. It may be a small town hospital but in my opinion thus far it's the best hospital that I have been to, especially when it comes to bedside manner.

I used to work there in Radiology before moving on, and I must say that this facility was the best, most well-staffed, and genuinely caring health institution I've ever run across in my 17 years in the field. The County of Cheyenne should count itself lucky to have this level of staff and technology in their region. I have moved on to the "big city" but KMH actually has better equipment than what I've encountered and I miss the place and it's down-to-Earth people and patients. Good luck to you all.

I've been there multiple times for diabetic er emergencies and they are really good at their jobs.
