Katelynn Hightower Speech Therapy

Katelynn Hightower is the BEST speech therapist in the River Region. We began seeing her many years ago at a previous office and were thrilled when she opened her own office on Carmichael Road! Our daughter has a medical diagnosis of Rett Syndrome which prohibits her ability to speak verbally. Katelynn took the initiative to learn her specific augmentative communication device and the speech generating software. Because of Katelynn Hightower, my daughter is able to express her wants and needs, she can make jokes and participate in conversation, she can argue with her brother and even knows some slag terms. =) Katelynn makes therapy fun and we always look forward to visiting! It's a fun atmosphere with lots of age appropriate toys & books. The office is very clean and the staff is kind. We are forever grateful for Katelynn and her staff for giving our daughter a voice!

We started seeing Katelynn about a year ago and she was amazing. She worked so well with my son and he made so much progress in a years time. I would recommend her group to everyone. They were all so helpful and polite.

Our almost 2.5 year old daughter has been seeing Katelynn since Oct 2021. She has made such advancements in these past 6 months with her speech!! I am so incredibly grateful for Katelynn and all the work she does. Katelynn comes to our house for the sessions and gets in the floor with our daughter to really connect with her on that level. My daughter thinks she is just coming to play but has no idea how much she has learned over the last 6 months! She stands at the door, with her face pushed to the glass, just waiting on Katelynn to get there! It is an amazing feeling as a mom to really hear your child speak and finally be able to communicate with you, it makes me want to cry just writing this! Thank you Katelynn for everything!! You are highly recommended in our opinion!!
