Urgent care does nothing to treat medical issue. Waste of time. Scotts Valley/Santa Cruz lacks proper departments to treat issues. Have to wait months for appointments to diagnose and treat issues. Sends you to emergency almost every time which is in Watsonville where services are extremely slow even for a possible life threatening problem

Kaiser in Scott's Valley is very convenient. The people that have helped me are all courteous and knowledgeable. From the people at the front desk, nurses ,Doctors and the young ladies that draw blood tests. I have been there many times and feel very comfortable every time. Thank you to the whole staff.

The Medical Assistant who roomed me informed me that the reason for my visit as i explained it to her was not urgent, and that PA Scanlon was there for urgent needs only. I was there to follow up on a lab result that showed my cholesterol is high, and was concerned that several major stressors over the last 2 years (my mother and brother died within a year of each other, in addition to other events) may be contributing to that rather than diet. i wanted to have my cortisol level checked because the stress has left me with sleep difficulties. i included that information in my message to the provider when i requested the appointment, and i'm not sure if the MA had read the message before i arrived or while we were in the room (she told me she was reading the message, it wasn't clear if that was the first time). Her statement left me feeling very uncomfortable. To be clear, my experience with PA Scanlon was pleasant, in contrast, and i wish i could say that it was enough to balance it out, but it wasn't. It was embarrassing, and i cried in front of PA Scanlon. i hope that this Medical Assistant's behavior is not reflective of the department.

I've come to this kp medical center once for physical therapy and once for a blood test. Both times it has been as easy as it can get. For physical therapy they were super professional and helped me a lot with the pain in my arm. For the blood test I made an appointment online 2 hours before but I don't think I would have waited too long if I just walked in. The blood draw was really fast and quick. Didn't feel anything. And got my test results within 24 hours.

I had to wait which I expected, but the nurse who checked me in and nurse practitioner were great. I liked the soothing animal video playing in the visit room too.

Went in for normal check-up and attention to detail was spot on. Coincidentally I had a new shoulder pain and the Dr. and her crew investigated and the determination was arthritis. I now know how to deal with it thanks to them. Thanks!

This place almost killed my unborn daughter on the completely false basis that she was unviable. Thank God we had the strength to be suspicious and get second opinions. That "unviable" little girl that Kaiser pushed us to terminate in 48 hours was born on Easter. Don't let the ads and their prevalence in the community deceive you. The medical care provided by Kaiser is extremely poor if not outright dangerous.

Each member of staff has consistently shown professionalism, generosity, efficiency, and warm kindness at every visit. They have all gender bathroom in the medical area of the second floor (photo shown) and gender binary bathrooms facing each other in the waiting area (shown). Overall a singularly welcoming, comforting atmosphere. The patient ambassadors in the waiting room are phenomenal, and the design and decor throughout are commendable. 💖
