The facility is very dated. Several machines are broken. The therapists discouraged me by writing in my progress notes that I had a poor understanding of physical exercises because I might have repeatedly asking them to show me. However, I am no athlete and that I just had an extensive surgery to repair torn ACL. The group classes are very crowded and sometimes they have multiple classes going on. Also, you don’t get much choices on the time when you book your next classes even in advance. They also write in my notes that I was late for however many minutes. I’d rather not miss time off work, go there and get discouraged. 🫤

The standard of the therapists here is so low! I started with one professional that for two sessions only worked on the left side of my body. In the second session she said she was sure she had worked on the other side in the previous week. So weird. Then I switched to a second therapist, which would only see me for 10-17 minutes tops. This week she spent 12 minutes with me and taught me an exercise I already had in my profile. So... A waste of money and my time. I did PT at In Motion OC and the difference is crystal clear. At In Motion OC you get full 60 minutes for around $60. Here you get 12 minutes for $20, and the professionals don't even read your file before session. Horrible. Go to a private practice, even if insurance doesn't cover. If there's a lot you can do from home, just go with private option.

Your primary phone number does not work and you are denying options for wheelchair accessories because we have Medi-cal for my father? Every last one of you pinching pennies so Kaiser can make even more than the 8 billion dollars they made last year is pathetic.

Reception staff was nice and informative, but my issues are with the intake and DR. This facility has gotten use to an automated format for diagnosing possible issues. If you do not fall in their favorable answers to the questionnaire (every day... less than once a month BS) they question you until you chose one of those answers. Appointments AKA formatted questionnaire sessions last approx. 30 mins. I can't understand how any doctor can take only 30 minutes to diagnosis you and prescribe meds with little information. During my appointment my DR lost touch of reality. He asked me such questions as, "Has anyone every said you were Manic?" I looked at him dumbfounded because who uses the word "manic?" Im pretty sure only psychology students would refer to that clinically terminology. Then he gave me a choice of 2 medications... (1) that wasn't FDA approved to deal w my situation and the latter did. He said it's your choice. I asked about side effects and he could only say they were minimal... I guess to him? I looked at him dumbfounded again, because technically he ONLY gave me one choice. So i told him I have no choice i have to take the other. He cares little for the patient, and is in a rush to get you out of his office.
