Kaiser Permanente Polk Street

The place looks like a hood. Just to schedule an appointment, I had to call them four different times. Someone finally returned my call and set the appointment, but forgot to mention therapy would be at a different location. I showed up to the medical office. The doors were closed, and no one would answer the phone (again). I contacted kaiser's 800# and discovered the appointment was elsewhere, by then I was already late and had to reschedule. Don't waste your time here.

This building was purchased by Kaiser Permanente under their expansion program. I think the liquor store did not want to sell so it is still out front of the building. They have physical therapy offices with older too late model equipment. I think it was a great place to work out. The people that run the department are very knowledgeable.

went to pick my mom up after she had been released from the hospital. Parked in the 1 hour emergency only parking as it is right in front of the hospital and they were bringing her out. A car parks next to me on the passenger side, so close that i would not be able to open my door wide enough to get my mother who is in a wheelchair in. The driver gets out and is a kaiser worker and proceeds to go inside. As they are bringing my mother out, the woman comes back and sees that i am on the side of the vehicle waiting for her to leave so i can help load my mother in the car. Apparently the kaiser employee Eliah Hart, needed to park in the emergency parking to go get her prescription. She gets in her car and decides to play on her cell phone instead of leaving so that i can load my mother into the car. Its 100 degrees outside and my mother is on oxygen. After 2 minutes of waiting for her to leave, i walk up to the window and ask her to move so we can get into the car as shes parked so close. She gives me a dirty look, sits there for a minute, then decides to back up and then park in the no parking red zone, so she can continue playing on her phone

I always get good treatment when I go to this building. I tend to go here for disability purposes.

Kept waiting and waiting doctors take 4 hours? Just for a checkup

Great office and great people working too. Not too busy.
