When I started going there I needed to use a walker everywhere I went. Joan and Dr O worked with me to get my pain under control. I am now able to move without a walker and it feels amazing. All of the Staff on both sides of the office treat you like your their only patient🥰

Dr.Joan Nunoo, has no compassion for her patients, there pain is that there's not hers , rude at times treating people this way is very unprofessional!! And the nurse seems to be on something? Going a little to fast and us everywere but no help the injections made my disability worse and then she dropped me as a patient? With no explanation just "wait for a letter in the mail "?

I am beyond displeased with J&P. As an established patient, my son was unable to get an appointment for months which created even more difficulty due to a network change beyond our control. Once seen, we requested a pain injection in his shoulder and MRI. They didn't even submit the referrals for 3 weeks and when they did, they were not correct and only happened after a conference call with a network representative confirming it had never been submitted. I have been lied to, redirected to PC, network and insurance and finally promised calls from an office supervisor and/or the Dr and neither has happened yet. He finally got an injection a week ago and it was done in the wrong location and told he would have to wait 2 weeks for a follow up which means another referral and more possibilities for errors. Absolutely no concern for his pain. We still haven't been able to get an MRI. I strongly advise anyone considering this office to go elsewhere. My son's case is very complex due to TBI and SCI. They seem absolutely ignorant in managing his basic care let alone the complexities involved.

Had a epidural injected into my l4/l5 for chronic lower back pain and lost feeling in bladder since, going on 1 year. Wouldn’t recommend this injection at ALL. It made my back pain even more worse. I should’ve listen to my primary dr who said these shots are dangerous, but when your in so much pain you don’t care, Stay away from this shot!

I just recently started going here for server lower back pain..they did an epidural on me about a week and a half ago and it made my back even worse now then when I went in..I went yesterday cuz I was in so much pain that I couldn't even walk or put pressure on both my legs cuz it hurt so bad . I asked him for pain medication and they said they sent it to my pharmacy but my pharmacy never received the percription so I called this morning and they swear they sent it. If you want true professional doctor go to Sierra Pacific Orthopedic..if I would have read the reviews before going to jp spine I would have never went but I will learn from my mistakes

I have severe spine issues and I was going to horrible place before I got referred here. J&P spine is clean professional and Doctor O is great ! I see Joan she’s fantastic she’s very observant she can tell when your suffering. She listens and helps. I’m very happy with this place !!

I have pain all threw my back !!had my whole neck fused!! Hips fused and Middle of my back fused !!! Can barley use left arm!! And pain in my feet!!!!! My first visit was great !! Staff very friendly, they help you do the paperwork!!!!! And the doctor is very honorable!!!!! Up front about everything and honest!!! This is a great team !! He really did help my level of pain!! Wow just amazing!¡!!!

Dr. O charges $850 a visit. Even if you are seen by a Nurse Practitioner. The visits are less than 5 mins. Although any office can charge what they want , that is an extreme overcharge. (Actual Surgeons charge less a visit.) Pay attention to the EOP the insurance sends and the actual office bills. Call your insurance. I questioned their billing. Stopping pain medicine suddenly is dangerous. A person should be weaned off gradually 10% per week or 10% a month. Injections are fine. It totally works for some. For others, pain relief is less than 3weeks. The person who tells you that the pain is all in your mind. Is full of it. You know if they had a toothache, broke a bone or had crippling pain they would not appreciate someone telling them "The pain is all in your mind " take a motrin. People in severe pain are desperate for relief. So a lot is overlooked . Read all the paperwork before you sign. , Know the charges Ask for the copy of the cost of the visit before you leave.
