I had a stroke in 12-01-24, Dr. Cohen started seeing me in January 14,2023, after my release from Memorial South. She took over my rehabilitation care from Dr. Torres, who is amazing doctor , so I had a high expectation coming from inpatient to outpatient care. She has surpassed all my expectations, she has a great communication channel with the outpatient Therapist, and monitors your progress from therapy. Every visit she takes the time to be hands on, listen, and watch your progress, she’s extremely professional, kind, and extremely knowledgeable. Her assistant Karen makes sure everything gets taken care of, follows up on all your prescriptions, and documents, she’s a key part of the team, and a great person.

Dr. Cohen is an excellent Physician not only her expertise but she goes beyond listening and finding a solution. She is so empathetic and will address all your concerns . Her staff professional and caring. I want to give my sincere thanks to Karen for always being so sweet to my brother Dalio Cervantes and accommodating him, also DJ so sweet and professional . The whole staff at this office are professionals and wonderful , organized . Thankyou again Isabel Michelena and my brother Dalio Cervantes who is Dr Cohens patient .

Dr Janice Cohen & her nurse Karen are the most outstanding team of professionals on this earth!! They are not only the sweetest angels that ever lived but they are brilliant diagnosticians!! You’ll get an outstanding caring team that takes such good care of you that they might as well be loving family. No one does it better than these wonderful ladies. They are so kind, thoughtful & fantastic it’s hard to believe you’re not already in heaven. I’ve been with them for 14 years & I wouldn’t give them up at gun point!! That’s how great they are!

Dr. Cohen is AMAZING! The staff is so patient and responds in a timely fashion. A huge shout out to Karen who always makes my daughter feel comfortable and at ease at EACH appointment. Another STAR is Saria!! She's the APPOINTMENT QUEEN!! So kind whenever we call. She's never in a rush, she answers all our questions.

Dr. Janice Cohen and her Medical Assistant, Karen, have been treating me for many years since my stroke. Consistently, Dr. Cohen and Karen have been extremely professional, caring, thorough, polite, and attentive during each appointment. Dr. Cohen listens carefully, understands my comments, and never rushes an appointment or treatment. And...treatments are always successful and helpful. Thank you. Office staff is polite, efficient, and always considerate to all patients. I appreciate that as well as the immaculate office.

Dr. Janice Cohen is an excellent physiatrist who specializes in brain injury rehabilitation. I have been seeing her for a few years and I am very impressed by her professionalism, compassion, and expertise. She always listens to my concerns and explains everything clearly. She has helped me make great progress in my recovery and I am very grateful for her care. I highly recommend Dr. Cohen to anyone who needs a physical medicine and rehabilitation specialist.

I recently moved from Kentucky to Florida, I have a pain pump that has to be refilled every 3 months. I’m due for a refill on June 17th. I first started calling this office on April 1st to set up an appointment and during my initial call I told the office staff the 2 medications that I have in my pain pump. This is a worker’s compensation case so they needed all of that information and my case worker provided it, anything they wanted, I would have to email my case worker and she would take care of this. After six weeks of them saying they needed different things from my case worker, I called every week to try to get my appointment scheduled, they would tell me they are working on it or they needed something else, or they would have someone call me and they never called. I finally had enough, I called and told them I need to get my appointment scheduled or I will have to go back to Kentucky to refill my pump. The lady on the phone said she would look into it and call me back. She called me back and said we do not do morphine refills, I said okay good because I don’t have morphine in my pain pump. I told her what I do have and she put me on hold and came back a few minutes later and said we don’t do that either. Why didn’t they tell me that in the initial phone call from 6 weeks ago? I have wasted 6 weeks trying to get into this doctor. I cannot let my pain pump run out. So I’m going to either have to find a doctor down here in Florida that can get me in on such a short notice, or go back to Kentucky and have my old doctor refill it which I financially cannot afford to do. Someone in the office really dropped the ball in my case. Very disappointed in this place. I never got to see a doctor here, so I cannot speak as to whether they are a good doctor. But the scheduling staff is terrible to deal with.

My experience with Dr Choen is always great, shes very thorough and takes time to go through your file to review whats going on.I give her a A plus across the board..Awesome service. And the staff , Karen brightens your day..overall a great office..service is excellence.
