J & M Physical Therapy & Rehabilitation

My experience at this clinic is good. I’ve been there for two occasions for different injuries and the therapy has really helped me with my progress. The physical therapists are nice, especially Sergio Perez. He is very professional, he is genuinely worried about his patients, he shows you how to do the exercises correctly and he is also very caring and kind. I recommend this clinic. Thank you for attention.

The physical therapist and her assistant are very professional and knew what they were doing in getting my hand mobility and strength back.

After a very unpleasant and unfortunate experience with them I decided to investigate and look at the reviews online and it is exactly what I thought, meaning I am not the only one having the exact same issues with some of the staff: The lady at the entrance is an unpleasant one for sure and seems to be very unhappy + never wears a mask when all are required to (I have thought that since a long time and now that I read it in several reviews I am definitely reassured that her rudeness is notified by others, not just me) had an argue with her and got fired back brutally by email by the owner of the PT center who invited me to go somewhere else to get the care need, when things could have been handle much more gratefully. What is truly bothering me is the non ethical behavior of the PT over there who is as well not the most pleasant person (exceptionally quiet and curt when not) but if you don’t pass her “appreciation test” meaning if she doesn’t like you as a person/patient (or if doesn’t like you personally) she will be happy to discharge you and won’t be willing to do a reassessment even though you may need it... I have of course signaled and reported this to my doctor and insurance and will keep on taking actions about this as this is not anything close to a professional behavior from a health care provider. We are patients and I don’t think that any personal opinion from them about us should ever interfere in their role/job as a health care provider, ever. We come to get a certain care, and we we are not there to necessarily appreciate each other, and they should remain professional towards us beside whatever opinion they may have about us, like we also do (it’s both ways). I am sure they don’t have an easy job and no one has, but ethically what happened was just not right. The only bright note about this place are the nurses who are always very pleasant and professional, I must say some are quiet amazing and really balancing with all the negative points I just explained. I cannot say they don’t do a bad job globally in terms of the care itself, as I have healed, slowly but surely regarding some of the reason I was coming, but this place needs a refreshing in terms of look and the 2 trouble people should just be removed for the best of the patients and atmosphere. I don’t like to write negative reviews this is actually my very first time, but this one had to happen and I couldn’t let this go and I won’t. People need to know where they step in and I hope this will warn them.

The whole team is awesome. Very friendly, helpful, knowledgeable, bilingual, and professional! My mother has been coming in for post operative treatment of her right shoulder (Rotator Cuff Tear) and thanks to the staff a J&M Physical Therapy her strength and mobility has returned.

That older/overweight female at the reception is very rude. Never replies to your Hi,bye or thank you! I think she thinks she owns the place and entitled to act this way towards patients. Everyone else is very nice and friendly. We love the doctors and therapist and their helpers. All very professional and always smile. However the receptionist always ruins my spirit and rest of my day! I wish the owner would hire someone nicer than this lady. I get that you must be divorced and have overeating habit , but it doesn't entitle you to act this way towards paying patients!!!

UPDATE: I received a bill of what they charged for. Even if my visit was covered, it was absurd what they have billed my insurance company. Manual therapy? Never even been touched. Modality? I remember that I refused to take any modality. I am reporting this facility for sure. One quick phone call and 15 min of exercise time cost 187 dollars Lol. I’ve been to many therapies (as a patient and provider) but this clinic is by far most supbar. Therapist has a ‘consult’ ONLY through the phone (no test, no observation) and just slaps on whatever exercises sound good. When walking through the door for the first time, aids and the assistants don't even introduce themselves or at least explain what will happen and just tell the patient to “lay down and do this exercise”. And they probably should ask the patients if it is okay before touching them. The equipment are old and it is a big no no for infection control. I feel bad for other patients thinking this is a great care&facility.

Absolutely amazing. The entire staff is beyond the sweetest and always made me feel welcomed. J&M made physical therapy so enjoyable and I would definitely recommend them to anyone! Thankful for all of the staff and their dedication to their patients!

I have never been to such a filthy disgusting place. not only was it gross but the receptionist is obviously a miserable person because she is rude beyond belief!!! no sign outside or in the window just straight ghetto. doesn't even deserve a star
