I ,unfortunately ,had the experience of being a patient at this location. They were short staffed and overbooked their physical therapists. A patient may go there for one hour but the therapist only works with them for 5-10 minutes as they have to work with other patients who are booked at the same time . They didn’t follow the PT plan that was provided to them by my orthopedic surgeon. I was going there and doing exercises that I could have done at home using a virtual PT. It was a poor experience and a major waste it time and money. As a physician and a patient I do not recommend this place. The main thing they were very good at it was to bill me for the time I spent there, doing my own exercises. I changed my physical therapy to another place nearby. I was very satisfied with my new therapy plan as they ACTULY valued their patients and spent time with them. Please do your research before choosing this place.

I had the best experience at Ivy Washington Square. I came in due to a nebulous, overuse injury in my low back which had me feeling pretty down and unsure of everything. Jim was my PT and was particularly reassuring about everything, he was super knowledgeable and provided balanced treatment — pushing me and helping me just enough. He and everyone at Ivy treat their patients like family! I couldn’t recommend this location more!

This was my second time trying to resolve a particular issue with PT, the first time a few years ago with another company where I was dismissed after a few months with no real improvement. This time was completely different. Jim Zaluski was a phenomenal PT who was able to put me back on track and identify related issues that were preventing progress. I can now do all the activities I was unable to do when I came in a few months ago. Patient, friendly, and knowledgeable, I would recommend Jim at Ivy Rehab to anyone I know who needs PT.

My experience here was very positive, owing to an excellent therapist, Jim Zaluski, a friendly and helpful staff, and convenient location.

I went to Jeanamarie for frozen shoulder in October and had a great experience. My homework was easy to manage. If I mentioned a spot I was sore or had pain, she knew what to do to alleviate the issue. You’ll be in good hands if you go here.

The staff at Ivy Rehab-Washington Square provided exceptional care in a friendly and compassionate environment. Very convenient location for me as I work in Center City. Jeanamarie Banta and her colleagues helped me recover from bilateral hip replacement and I'm back running, pain-free. I highly recommend their care.

First I went for my knee. Andrew was so helpful and I have continued with the exercise program he had suggested and after several months, I no longer have knee pain. Most recently, I fell and injured my neck and shoulder. This time, Matt has been helping me. He is amazing - both knowledgable and compassionate. He is a good listener and helped me coordinate care with my doctor and acupuncturist. Hopefully, I won't need PT services again, but at my age, and with my level of clumsiness, I think I'll be back.

I had a great experience at Excel PT! I came in because I hurt my leg from running, and throughout the recovery process, my physical therapist Maria was super friendly and incredibly accommodating of my busy schedule as a medical student doing clinical rotations. She worked with me when I needed to change appointment times, gave me new exercises tailored to my needs as my training evolved, and was responsive to my questions by e-mail about my progress. I really appreciate all her help!
