I can’t say enough about the incredible team at Ivy Rehab in Morristown, NJ! From the moment you walk in, the staff goes above and beyond to make you feel welcome and supported. My physical therapist, Marissa, is simply amazing—her combination of professionalism, compassion, and expertise truly sets her apart. She’s made my treatment sessions not only effective but also a genuinely enjoyable experience, which isn’t something you hear often about physical therapy! The whole team is fantastic at what they do, making sure each patient feels comfortable and confident in their care. I highly recommend Ivy Rehab to anyone looking for top-notch physical therapy. Thank you, Marissa and team, for making this journey so positive!

I cannot say enough positive things about Adam Freitag and Ivy Rehab in Morristown. They are top notch. He has worked with me over the last 10 months to help me restore functions in my hand/wrist including post a surgery. I am so much better compared to when I first came in to rehab back in February. I also have Marisa for these last couple of months for PT for my neck and she is amazing as well. The best part is, you can tell that the therapists really enjoy their jobs and that they want to really help people restore their health. Grace is also delightful who manages the front desk. I cannot think them all enough for the wonderful care that I’ve had these last 10 months! I highly recommend this bright, clean facility that has terrific therapists! 😊

Words cannot describe how grateful I am for finding this place. I have been in PT a lot within the last nine years from sports or gym-related injuries, and no other place compares. From the staff being super friendly to the professionalism practiced at this establishment, you will not be sorry if you decide to come here for rehab. From my PT's (Marissa) level of work ethic to Grace’s level of organization in the front of the house, there is no better duo out there. To the owner of Ivy, thank you for hiring these girls. I know your business will be here long because of them.

Appointments are easy to get (but I am a planner). The office/work area is spotless. All of the team gets along well. Adam is a hand/arm specialist, and he has the perfect blend of “drill sergeant” seriousness, with a deep level of caring to make sure you are progressing without pain. Lots of wet heat, stretching, and he changes the exercises very often so you don’t get bored. This is not a job for him but a vocation. Also, a special shout out to Grace, who usually is at the front desk but also assists the OTs with supplies, cleaning and client morale. She is smart as a whip, kind and works well as a team player. I highly recommend the people at this office, particularly Adam. If you do the exercises at home as instructed (but don’t overdo it), you will get a marked improvement in range of motion and strength.

I highly recommend Ivyrehab Morristown! My PT, Marissa, has made an experience that I used to dread, genuinely enjoyable. I look forward to going to PT, and if you asked me a year ago my answer would be the complete opposite. Not only Marissa, but both Adam and Grace have gone above and beyond in SO many ways. I have seen so much progress here and I am beyond grateful for all these staff who have made my healing process 100x easier. They are extremely knowledgeable and good at what they do, but also very friendly, empathetic, and have made my recovery so much easier in ways even beyond PT that I would’ve never expected. I couldn’t have picked a better place to go!

My 13 year old daughter is a competitive swimmer. In January she had laparoscopic shoulder surgery. Marissa, Adam, Grace and the team at Ivyrehab Morristown have been the most support group of PT and OT specialists to help my daughter recover and strengthen physically and mentally. They have tailored her therapy and shared her goal to get her back into the pool so that she can do what she loves most! We love you guys!! Big thank you. #stillneedtobuythatKatieLedeckyposter

I'm currently finishing up rehab with Adam Freitag at their new Morristown location. I of course want to leave a great review but at the same time I'd like to give some details on exactly what an OT /Hand Therapist does to give anyone with a similar injury an idea of how the whole thing works. I had fractured the bases of my 4th and 5th Metacarpals which required surgical repair by subcutaneous pinning. If you dont know, which I didn't, this is when the pins are left sticking out of your hand for future removal after healing rather than internal screws or plates that stay with you forever. After surgery I was given a list of a hand therapists that offer this kind of care and I feel fortunate that I picked Adam and Ivy Rehab. After this kind of surgery your OT is basically your healthcare provider for your entire recovery. You will make periodic visits to your surgeon for x-rays to make sure the bones are healing but getting use of your hand normally again is 100% on your OT. The first appointment which is 5 days or so after surgery he will unwrap you and fabricate a custom splint that will immobilize your repaired bones, accommodate the pins sticking out of your hand, but also allow movement of all the other joints so he can begin work on keeping those joints moving. Adam had an excellent relationship with my surgeon and would take pictures and text to him right on the spot if there was any concerns about excess swelling or possible infections. For 7 weeks he was responsible for unwrapping, pin site cleaning, redressing, and of course keeping the rest of the hand moving to the greatest extent possible with a variety of exercises, tools, and gadgets. After the pins come out at week 7 he performs more wound care and dressing while the skin heals and then you get to work on getting full movement of all the joints which for me took a couple more months of exercise and stretching. I found my time at Ivy Rehab in Morristown very enjoyable. The office is only 2 minutes or so off of Rt287 so getting in and out was very convenient. Adam and Grace are great people and very easy to talk to. The 1 hr sessions went by in what seemed like 10 minutes most days after rehashing sports scores, current streaming recommendations, music and current events. Adam always seemed truly interested and engaged in what he was doing and truly cared about your recovery. Thank you to Adam and everyone at Ivy Rehab and after Friday I hope to not have to see you again!
