Ivy Rehab is phenomenal. All of the staff are amazing from the receptionist to the aides to all of the therapist. I had the pleasure to experience hand therapy over a year ago which my therapist Katy was amazing. In the past few months I have been working with an amazing therapist Emily for physical therapy. Emily is a joy to work with. She is knowledgeable of her craft. She is patient and kind. Most importantly she helps her patients get back to the best version of themselves. I recommend Ivy Rehab without reservation.

I had a tremendous experience with my rehab at the Cranford Ivy location. Emily was very knowledgeable and effective in getting me to perform at my best while building my knee back up from an injury. I would definitely recommend her as a physical therapist of choice for any that want to have a top notch recovery! 👍

I have been a patient too many physical therapy facilities and have not been happy. I am always trying new facilities. Once I walked into Ivy Rehab I felt very comfortable with the atmosphere. Everyone is very friendly. I am very happy with my physical therapist. She is knowledgeable, patient, listens to your issues and I feel very comfortable with her. I will definitely use Ivy Rehab for all my physical therapy needs.

I came to Ivy on the recommendation of my wife who used them for a knee rehabilitation. I was having extreme shoulder issues. My orthopedic ordered 6 weeks of pt. The therapists were fantastic. Within a few weeks I was able to get range of motion back. After 6 weeks I could move but still had pain. An mri found a total rotator cuff tear. I had surgery March 21st and after 6 weeks began pt at ivy with Emily Clauss. She created an exercise program that after 5 weeks has me with great range of motion and very little uncomfortably. I would recommend Emily and Ivy rehab to anyone in need of physical therapy rehab.

This is a letter my husband wrote to Ivy Rehab: Ivy Rehab in Cranford NJ failed to get prior authorization for prescribed pre-surgical PT for one month prior to my total right knee replacement surgery. They failed to inform me prior to the first appointment for my assessment, the purpose of which was to develop a pre-surgical treatment plan so I could be in the best possible condition going into my surgery. It was not until I was finished with the assessment that the therapist informed me that they, Ivy, had not yet received said insurance authorization they said was required. I was quite livid that Ivy did not inform me of this before I went for the assessment as I would not have gone had I known this ahead of time. Ivy had also already scheduled subsequent treatment appointments. They said they would cancel them if they didn’t get the needed authorization and let me know. During the next 5 weeks Ivy called me to cancel the other scheduled appointments because they still had not received insurance authorization. Fast forward to one week prior to my surgical date, Ivy calls and tells me that it turned out they didn’t need my insurer to pre-authorize treatment after all. One week prior to my surgery was too little, too late to be of any benefit. My pre-surgical PT treatment plan was delayed too long to be of any benefit due to the incompetence of Ivy’s office around the insurance issue. The mess up on Ivy’s part not only delayed the prescribed pre-surgical treatment but prevented it altogether. I had still intended to go to Ivy for post surgical rehab starting one week post surgery and had made the appointment with Ivy. When Ivy told me at check in for the first post surgical PT assessment that I owed a balance for the screwed up pre-surgical PT assessment visit, I told Ivy that I would be taking my business to another provider if they refused to remove the charge for that completely wasted pre-surgical appointment. Ivy refused and I took my business elsewhere. I am now receiving excellent PT with Atlantic Healthcare in Clark. I made the appointment for the post surgical assessment and 4 weeks of treatment appointments on the phone that very same day, and was told at that time over the phone exactly how many visits would be covered under my insurance. I have also received the estimates of coverage as part of the “No Surprises Act”. My out of pocket cost is $0 for all of it. If Atlantic was able to sort out the insurance on the phone in a few short minutes before even scheduling my appointments, why did Ivy drop the ball in such an inept way and not obtain this same information for 5 weeks? Ivy office staff incompetence? At any rate this is not the kind of experience anyone should expect from a professional medical office and I believe this bill should be written off because Ivy really screwed up the entire process. It is not about the money, it is about principal. If Ivy had written off that balance I would likely have stayed with Ivy because the quality of therapy there has been good in the past. I had never had this issue with Ivy in the past. It is just a shame that their office mishandled this. It was not a good experience and I will no longer be using them or recommend them to anyone ever again. Patient: **** *******
