Can’t say enough great things about Alex and staff. Very friendly environment! Alex is very thorough despite a busy PT clinic. No session was completely the same - I felt he was very thoughtful about therapy plan, and he made it fun, too. Highly recommend!

Showed up with a blown out quad 4 weeks before an international marathon and was afraid I was not going to be able to race. Alex and Dan went out of their way to understand my situation and create a plan that would give me the best chance to complete the race. Within one session they had pinpointed exactly what the issue was, and knew ahead of time which exercises would lead to what amount of pain. They welcomed questions and feedback, and truly listened to what I had to say and took it into consideration when devising a plan. I ended up being able to complete my race, and I do not think I would have without their help. As someone who has struggled with some not so great PTs in the past, I highly recommend Alex and Dan.

I went into Ivy therapy thinking just another therapist. That won't achieve anything for me. Instead, i was amazingly surprised at his knowledge of my condition. When he was finished my swelling went down and had greatly reduced my pain. I whole Heartly recommend Ivy rehab in West Hartford on New Britain Avenue. And that was my first day! You can bet that I will be going back.

I can’t say enough about Dan at Ivy PT. He listened to my complaints and goals and we made a plan. I feel like I made great progress, more than I had with previous physical therapy. They have a newer approach and are focused on your goals bound just functionality.

Mark, Dan, Alexa, and the rest of the staff is wonderful. They are skilled, personable and caring individuals who listen to you, explain why and what they are doing and provide excellent individualized physical therapy in a warm but not encroaching environment. I was a patient for six weeks after my PRP. “Graduated” today! I would recommend them for any type of physical therapy.

I came to Ivy Rehad HSS Physical Therapy, because I had strain my trapezius, and my arm, when I started I was in so much pain where I couldn’t really do much, I’m talking just walking distance, doing my regular house chores, I could not do. My neck was so hurting so bad I would cry. During my 6 weeks visit at Ivy Rehab I started feeling better the second day, and gradually after my visits. I personally want to thank Dan for helping me during these 6 weeks. I’m feeling a lot better. Thank you Ivy Rehab HSS. They are Very professional and understand.

Nicole, at the front desk, is on top of everything. She always seems to be available, and she's more than willing to answer my questions. When I've needed to change my appointment or book on short notice, she always finds a way to get me on the schedule. Richard, the physical therapist, takes the time to listen to his patients and explains the process in a way everyone can understand. His positive, encouraging words are helpful during the recovery period. I highly recommend the staff at Ivy Rehab in West Hartford. If you're in pain, Ivy should be your first call.
