Ivy Rehab for Kids

Our son just graduated from PT after going to Ivy Rehab for 8 months. When he started we were so worried as he wasn’t sitting up by himself or crawling at 9 months old. Now at almost 18 months old he is hitting all his milestones and we’re running after him. We credit this to the work of our fabulous physical therapists Isabel, Carlene, and Sam. We were lucky enough to get to see and know all three and they each provided tools for us to implement at home to help our son develop in between sessions. They always created a positive and encouraging environment and were happy to answer all of our questions. We cannot say enough good things about our physical therapists and highly recommend all of them to any other parents seeking PT for their child. It was bittersweet to end our sessions but we are so happy and thankful for the care we received. Thank you Isabel, Carlene, Sam, and Ivy Rehab!

My daughter, who has Down syndrome, began her journey with Ivy Rehab at just six months old for an evaluation. Now, at 12 months, she has made incredible strides—moving from sitting to crawling and now trying to stand on her own. Ivy Rehab has been a true blessing for her. The care and dedication from Isabelle and Sam touch my heart deeply. They not only adore her as a person but also believe in her limitless potential and are committed to helping her achieve it.

The Children’s Therapy Center of Sterling goes above and beyond for my child. My child receives speech therapy, occupational therapy and feeding therapy here. They are so accommodating. For example, my child has a hard time separating from me in the building, so they have made it possible for his sessions to be outdoors as much as possible, as the outdoors regulates him. Since they recommended this approach, there have been no more tears and my son has made such incredible progress. I’m somebody who has never left my child with a babysitter before, but I feel beyond comfortable with each and every therapist at The Children’s Therapy Center of Sterling for the 30-90 minutes that my son is with them. The waiting room is comfortable, and the staff at the front desk are incredibly helpful and friendly. I’m here 2-3 times a week and genuinely look forward to coming here! It’s a great experience every time. Can’t say enough good things about this place!

I would highly recommend Ivy Rehab for Kids in Sterling. My sons Physical Therapist Isabel R. Isabel has gone over and beyond with his care. We have received the best quality of care I could ever imagine. He is been in PT since he was 1 month old and is currently 7 months old. He is diagnosed with hypertonia and possibly an unknown other muscle disorder. Isabel is not only fantastic and patient with my 7 month old son but she also adores my 2 year old daughter. Isabel has listened to me, comforted me, and helped through difficult times relating to my sons unknown condition. She has conducted research, spoke with all of his provider to make sure he is getting the best quality of care. She has given me outstanding advice to help support him in his condition and conducted the best treatment plan so he can reach his gross motor milestones. She has helped him grow and develop so much over these months. He honestly wouldn’t have met his milestones without her. My son absolutely loves her, and I know she loves him too. She always makes us feeling welcomed, loved, and supported. She is very personable, compassionate and intelligent. Even my daughter who isn’t a patient loves Isabel too. Isabel makes us feel like we are apart of her family. She is one of the best physical therapist, she believes in giving each patient the best quality of care. Isabel recommended my son to Occupational and feeding therapy. He currently sees Paige C. Paige has gone over and beyond with my sons quality of care. She has supported me and my son through tough times. She conducted a feeding plan to support his feeding struggles. She has given me advice on his stomach condition, and has spoken to all of his providers regarding his feeding and sleep issues. Paige listened to my concerns regarding his feeding and sleep is and acknowledged and validated all of my concerns regarding my son. Paige is patient, intelligent and compassionate. She makes us feel like we are apart of her family. She has the kindest heart, loves her patients dearly. We are so grateful for the positive impact she has on my sons life and the support she has given us is truly unremarkable. After only a few visits Paige has already helped my son reach his milestones. I receive the best advice and treatment plan from her to help my son. She has given my son the best quality of care I could imagine. I’m so lucky to have such an amazing provider to support my family. She is a true blessing and has done wonders with my son feeding skills. My daughter who is two years old also loves her. She always runs up and gives Paige a hug. Paige always wants to best quality of care for each of her patient and she will never stop advocating for my son and other children. I would highly recommend her as a Occupational Therapist and a Feeding Therapist. I am so blessed to have her support and help through my son’s medical journey. Without Ivy Rehab I probably would be very lost without them. I appreciate what Paige and Isabel does for my whole family.

I take my son to Children's Therapy Center for speech and we love it. He is excited to go to each appointment and the therapists are wonderful. He shows progress after each appointment and the therapists update me and communicate with each other to ensure his sessions are consistent. The reception team is also amazing, they are responsive, patient and properly address any concerns I have.

Do not take your child here! Rude staff, impersonal treatment, terrible communication and ineffective therapists. I couldn’t get anyone to answer the phone or respond to messages through the portal. The office admin are the worst- treating me as though I am wasting their time.

We just had our first appointment for OT. Our 9-year-old was dragging her feet going in—everything was going to be “boring” and “not fun,” especially on a Saturday. Well, Julia turned all that around! When our daughter came out the door an hour later, she was grinning and laughing, told us how much fun she had, and asked why it’s only every other week. Before we even got in the car, she was informing us that she loved Julia as much as she loves her favorite teachers at school. We all can’t wait to go back!!
