Ivy Rehab for Kids

We’ve had the pleasure of entrusting the care of our daughters to Ivy Rehab pediatric PT, and I can't express enough gratitude for the incredible experience. Chris Kish possesses a rare combination of expertise, compassion, and genuine passion for his work. His extensive knowledge of pediatric physical therapy has been evident in every session, as he tailors each exercise and activity to meet the specific needs and abilities of my children. He goes above and beyond to make therapy sessions engaging and fun, turning what could be daunting exercises into enjoyable experiences for our girls. Now, with the addition of Emma as an OT, it only gets better. She takes the time to educate parents on techniques and strategies to support their child's development outside of therapy sessions, ensuring continuity of care and progress at home. What a gift!

Our son has been receiving services since he was 6 weeks old at many different locations. We used to have to drive all over to find the services that worked for our schedule and that was quality care. Ivy Rehabs' team, Chris and Emma specifically, have been the BEST that we have experienced. The care, love, and expertise they provide, have benefitted our son and we have seen exponential growth in his strength, motor skills, and overall confidence. The location is ideal and they are the best at what they do!

We love Ivy rehab! I’ve been taking my son to the Ridgefield office since it opened and Dr. Chris has been wonderful with him. We started in the Newtown location in March 2023 and then transferred to the Ridgefield office. All of the therapists at Ivy Rehab are highly skilled and we are so happy to see the progress he’s made!!

Our OT Emma at ivy rehab has been wonderful to work with. She is great at communicating what the goal and focus of Patrick’s sessions are. He feels comfortable sharing here and enjoys coming to work with his therapist.

Chris K. is a phenominal pediatric physical therapist!!! He puts so much into every session and is so kind and compassionate! He seems to have extensive knowledge and a depth of understanding of various conditions, the individual needs, and therapeutic approaches for the best possible outcome. As we've seen with our teenage son, who has Angelman Syndrome, -involving global developmental delays- Chris meets him where he's at, but also challenges him to go beyond limitations, perceived or otherwise. This has been so inspiring for us, especially as we do the carry-over therapy at home. Our son has greatly benefited from his p.t. sessions with Chris. He just loves him and looks forward to every session with him! As for the other therapists we've met there, they all seem wonderful and the receptionist, Ashley, is so helpful and kind, as well:) We're extremely grateful and blessed and would absolutely recommend this Ivy kids center to everyone looking for an amazing place to bring their children for therapy!

We LOVE Ivy Rehab for Kids! We were thrilled to not have a waitlist (it’s a new location) and it’s so close to home. Emma is amazing at engaging with my son. Scheduling was flexible and billing/check in easy.

The entire staff at Ivy Rehab for Kids in Ridgefield is phenomenal. We are given expert care and attention, everyone is so kind and patient, and we have seen a tremendous improvement. We could not be happier with our experience.

Our son absolutely loves going to Ivy Rehab for Kids in Ridgefield where he receives PT, OT and speech therapy. The staff are kind, dedicated, patient, and knowledgeable.
