Ivy Rehab for Kids

I have absolutely enjoyed working with everyone here at Ivy. They have allowed me to learn and to grow as I was completing my OT observation hours. Everyone was wonderful and kind. They are dedicated to their patients and their needs, they adapt to each patient to succeed in reaching their goals!

I can’t recommend a better place than Ivy Rehab for Kids in Fredericksburg. My special needs child started outpatient physical therapy with Katie at the age of 2.5 after we moved to the area. Katie has worked tirelessly with him to help him meet goals and gain strength. He’s now sitting more reliably and standing up from sitting. Our son recently started speech therapy with Jamie and occupational therapy with Kelly. Jamie has helped us find ways to engage Thomas and he has recently said as many as five words in one session! This is a milestone we didn’t know was possible. Kelly has really helped our son with grasping, extending his arms and engaging in play. All of his therapists are happy to see him every week and he positively adores them. I also cannot say enough about the front desk staff. Jeanette is always kind and happy to help with any scheduling or insurance issue we face. I whole recommend checking out this location!

Amazing experience with everyone. From Ms. Jen at the check in point to all of the therapists. Ms Danielle, Ms. Lindsey and Ms Joann have done a tremendous job with our Child . The improvement in just a few short months is HUGE! Thank you for caring so passionately about our children and fighting to bring quality care and early interventions to our community here in the Fred/ Spotsy area. Thank you for being so caring and nice to our family and especially to our cute lil kiddo! Be blessed Thank you to all the other staff from OT and ST that have worked with us when their usual IT or ST therapist have being unavailable for some reason , this is one of the best perks that therapy doesn’t stop and they are all so accommodating, seriously everyone is great !

My four year old has been going to Ivy (formerly Flemming) for speech therapy and OT. Therapy sessions are fun and engaging, so she is always excited to go to her "speech doctors". We have seen great improvement in her enunciation of words and she is much less frustrated in communicating. She's seen Alec, Lauren, Lindsey, and Alison - and adores all of them. Jeannette at the front desk has been very helpful with scheduling and making sure our insurance information gets processed on time. Overall, the staff are kind and great at what they do.

We’ve had a really great experience at Fleming Therapy with our toddler for speech therapy services. Danielle, Lindsey, and Lauren have all been amazing with her and she loves to go to her appointments. She’s making great progress and we see improvement in her speech every week. They give helpful feedback about what we can be doing at home and everyone we’ve encountered has been so friendly.

We have been to Fleming Therapy in Fredericksburg since 2016. We have found that the service from the office staff- Jeanette (office manager) to Kayla and Janice (receptionists) to the Speech Therapists and Occupational Therapists has been bar none the best we have experienced in the almost five years our son has been going to therapy. Each session starts with a friendly greeting from his respective therapist and ends with a 3 to 5 minute assessment of what he did in therapy and what his therapist would like to have us work on at home for the following appointment. My son attends therapy sessions three days a week. These ladies have become like a second family to us and truly champion the successes and progress that our son has made. If I ever have any questions I can count on the office staff or therapists to work together to find an answer or solution to best meet our needs. We have been very happy with our son’s progress thus far. Also- Fleming Therapy is the third office we have attended. We began therapy at Children’s Hospital but the drive was just too far. We then moved to another local Therapy office but felt very uncomfortable with the therapist and their methods and so chose to look for an alternative. We are happy to have found Fleming Therapy and are very happy with the services they provide.

We’ve had a great experience at Fleming. We see Allison for OT and she’s been great helping my son build confidence and control his emotions. In addition, he also looks forward going to see her every week!

My son has been going here for 7 months and the difference in his speech is unbelievable! Everyone from front desk staff, the therapists and behind the scenes personnel are amazing and friendly. I sit in the waiting room during his appointments and there are toys for the kids waiting, books. I've yet to see a crowded waiting room, which is ideal when it's my 30 minute break every day. Anna & Emily both made a huge difference in my son's speech! We went from acting as his translators to sitting back and letting him handle his conversations.
