Ivy Rehab for Kids

We’ve worked with Sydney, Maddie for speech and Eryn (and a younger guy who was learning from Eryn) for the past few months. The improvements and changes we’ve seen have been insane. They’ve truly made unremarkable strides for our little dude. I am so pleased with them. Furthermore, the wonderful lady who does the appts and stuff- she is the best. I believe her name is Ivy. She is always so sweet when we have to make changes/switch up the schedule. I absolutely ADORE the team at Ivy rehab. The location is very nice too. Ample safe parking, office is first floor, right by the door. It’s all very great. Get your kids in, they’ll help!

Initially I was very pleased with the services and our therapist was awesome! But then the management went with a 3rd party vendor to handle insurance authorizations and had my son on hold for services for almost 2 months and still on hold! It was horrible! My son missed out on much needed therapy due to the management decision to continue to utilize a company that was very unprofessional and unethical and just continued to say it’s not us it’s them! I feel like it was medical neglect. There were several patients that missed out on the medically needed treatment and care! If something isn’t working and you see it’s not fix it and not at the cost of the children’s care. It causes regression and no progression in meeting goals for treatment plans. I’m still in search of finding another PT also how to report them.

I was really blessed to find Ivy Rehab. The search was long. They have amazing specialists! My son works with Ms. Chelsea for OT. She follows the child led approach wonderfully. She also customizes and designs the lessons according to my son’s interests. The way she encourages him during missteps and praises his growth all aid in him never being ready to leave. He loves Ivy and the experience, knowledge and resources make me feel like I’m in the right place for my baby.

Sydney was great. She did a wonderful job evaluating my daughters speech. My daughter felt comfortable and even had fun with Ms. Sydney during her evaluation. We were late, I figured we’d have to reschedule but she was flexible and forgiving of our tardiness. Great facility, highly recommended.

I don’t have high enough words regarding Ivy Rehab! My daughter sees Mrs. Eryn for OT and it has been the best treatment ever. Mrs. Eryn has theee MOST patience and just grace when doing her job. (which is NOT an easy one.. especially with my wild free spirited Stellz) I appreciate how she never makes my baby feel unheard and always (even during the BIG meltdowns) takes the extra moment to guide her back down properly and safely. Every moment is a teaching moment with her and helps my daughter learn how to handle these things herself. Working on the independence and giving her the necessary skills to conduct herself appropriately in public. Thank you to Mrs. Eryn and ALL the staff at Ivy Rehab for being a safe space. Also, shoutout to the BEST receptionist Ms. Ivy who always has a smile on her face and is always beyond helpful with anything requested. Definitely look into Ivy Rehab for your babies.

If I could give more than 5 stars I absolutely would. As a first time therapy mom I was nervous that my son needed to come for torticollis but upon meeting his AMAZING therapist Maille I was quickly put at ease. She is so awesome, between her being great with communication while working (letting us know what she’s doing and why) to her being such a team sport that I have to bring his 3 sisters with me which I know probably isn’t easy but she never makes us feel uncomfortable or like it’s too much. I love it here so much that I recently started bringing my daughter for OT with Eryn who is equally as awesome. The staff is amazing!! The energy and vibe of the whole office is just so fun and upbeat. If your little needs PT, OT, or anything inbetween I highly recommend bringing them to Bingham Farms, Ivy! So happy I found this place!

We have been seeing Dr. Lauren for my son’s torticollis. She is extremely knowledgeable and does a very good job explaining everything to me and showing me the exercises for us to work on at home. She is also so sweet with my son- she will even sing to him when he’s upset. Highly recommend Ivy and Dr. Lauren!
