Ivy Creek Home Health

Was treated a Elmore Community Hospital. Presented my Medicare and Blue Cross Blue Shield Blue advantage cards. Received five different billings showing neither paid anything. This is not possible! Have spoken with the billing office at least five different times. Have gotten a different excuse each time neither paid. The last person I spoke with told me I needed to call insurance providers to clear up their billing errors. Why is it my responsibility to correct their errors$ Called BCBS could not answer their questions. Was told to have billing contact them.

Yesterday the 30 June 2022 was the FINAL time I will ever deal with ivy creek. I’ve tried to use their home healthcare three different times and they were ALL an epic fail. We tried it with my father, my aunt and myself. They were never on time, a few times they never even showed up and never called. That was the very first visit . All three occasions were the exact same situation. I ended up changing to an awesome home health provider. All three times they provided excellent care. Yesterday I had to have blood work done so I could begin a new medication. The nurse at the drs office put the wrong last name on the orders. That started a downward spiral for the day. I got to the new medical clinic across from lowes in Wetumpka. After I noticed the error they told me that the name needed to be corrected. That I understand, they said I could go somewhere else and could probably fax the correct name on the orders. They did not offer to this for me. I was extremely upset and angry with their attitude and told them so in no uncertain terms. Called drs office and had them fax the correct orders to ivy creek, Elmore community hospital) have been there previously and never had a problem. Another epic fail. Blood was drawn with no problems but… I also had to have a TB test which was written by the doctor on the orders. Here begins the ignorance. There was no place on the form to check for TB test. That’s why it was written by the doctor on the orders. SUPERVISOR said it had to be checked. They even called drs office and they were told that I was to have a TB test. So, guess what, no TB test by ORDER of the SUPERVISOR. So again I was extremely upset and angry with incompetent Ivy Creek. Used no uncertain terms to express my anger for the second time within a few hours. Both by Ivy Creek. These people are incompetent. So if you want good service go anywhere but Ivy Creek . Also the nurse that took my blood messed up somehow and I was left with a painful knot in my arm. Hurt for several hours and today it’s turned into a large bruise and is still sore.

If you have mental health issues or PTSD don't go here cause they have a medical assistant that she thinks you are faking it and need to just get over it. She has used that she works in the medical field so she knows about mental health issues. I guess she knows more than mental health professionals. She has even verbally attacked her brother on this issues and said that I and my family are acting like children. SO PROFESSIONAL!

Never had a worse experience. Will never go back.

Horrible patient care. Very hostile nurse practitioner very combative and abusive toward me. I'm 53 and never been attacked verbally like she did.

No long waits. Courteous & friendly staff. Very attentive & gives the patient the opportunity to ask question.

This place is horrible for my girlfriend so far she went for her X-ray on Friday and they said she will get called Monday and told what’s wrongs and stuff and it’s wendsday now and she still haven’t revived a single call and when she calls into the doctor her call is ignored
