Island Sports Physical Therapy - East Northport

I have spent the last few months with Charlie as my physical therapist and have received nothing but kindness and complete accommodation. Normally I dread going to PT, but here I was always greeted with friendly conversation and helpful treatment for my ankle and anything else I asked about. Here they are extremely flexible and understanding about scheduling, with premium customer service in all things. While I hope I don’t receive any injuries in the near future, if I do I will surely be coming back to Island Sports.

I visited Island Sports Physical Therapy to rehab a knee that underwent extensive meniscus surgery, and immediately felt comfortable with the knowledgable and friendly staff. Charlie, who handled my knee rehab, was engaging and easy to work with. In the time that I went to her, she increased my range of motion significantly and helped decreased my pain. Highly recommend!!

GraceAnn is amazing. She’s intelligent, thoughtful, careful, and pays attention to detail. She always puts her patients first; she’s very flexible with her schedule and always accommodates to their needs. She also is just so genuine, kind, personable, and hilarious. She gave me an incredible first PT experience, and I will miss her and her care very much! She has helped me grow and get stronger, and for that, I cannot thank her enough!

I had the opportunity of being treated by all the therapists, Rob, Charlie and Graceann in Island Sports Physical Therapy. They are all equally competent, knowledgeable and very helpful with my issues. I had treatment for about 4 months recently secondary to back pain from spinal issues and ankle pain. I first went there with very limited movement due to pain. Grace Anne was my main therapist. I could not thank her enough for helping me get back to my normal functioning. She is very sensitive to my needs. No matter how busy the place is at times, she doesn’t get side-tracked with your therapy. She make sure all treatments assigned to you are all done properly. A special shout out to John and other staff members also for doing an excellent job making patients comfortable and listening to my concerns. The place is always kept clean and staff is very consistent with their disinfection process before and after treatment which is important for me as a professional in the medical field. Overall, I am truly grateful to all the staff and esp to Graceann for making me whole again and the compassionate care I received from everyone. Thank you!

Island Sports Physical Therapy in East Northport is a highly professional and effective agency. My therapist, GraceAnn was knowledgeable, highly skilled and personable, helping me to feel comfortable while providing a rigorous series of exercises. She then provided me with a thorough program to continue at home once my on site sessions were complete. Johnny, the physical therapy assistant was also very personable, helpful and relaxed. He facilitated the exercise program with great interest and a smile. They both gave the space a comfortable and safe feeling while at the same time, motivating me to work towards my goals. I would highly recommend this agency. They are also very efficient with billing, insurance, and appointment scheduling. Very easy to work with.

I had an extremely positive experience here! Graceanne was my main person! She was excellent! Knew exactly what to do and how to handle the pain management. I did 30 sessions and I went from not being able to move my fingers to making a fist and golfing again! Rob is also great and Johny and the crew all did a great job!!! Never realized how important therapy is! I received 50 stitches and cut my tendon with a powerwasher. My hand went from totally no using it and afraid it would stay that way - to being back in the game golfing and doing normal things again. Thank you so very much Graceanne , Robbie and crew ! Great team!

Graceanne has been so amazing to work with! She listens to every concern that I have and made sure to give me an individualized plan that worked for me. She’s so nice and has a great bedside manor! She has helped me tremendously with my injury (Hip labrum tear) when I thought I might need surgery, after just a few short weeks I feel like not only do I not need surgery but a normal range of motion and strength are within my sights! She continuously checks in with me throughout my workout to make sure my form is correct and that nothing is too easy or too strenuous. Everyone at Island sports PT is warm, inviting and super helpful!!

I highly recommend Island Sports Physical Therapy East Northport, & specifically Chiara! She makes physical therapy easy every visit because she’s relatable & makes you feel like family. She’s also very knowledgeable & guides you through every stretch and exercise.
