Irondale Post Acute

This is a great place to work! The staff all work together and help the residents. We strive to make this facility feel more like home. The Dietary Department goes above and beyond to help the residents. They make tasteful food and are willing to make changes to the menu so that the resident can have food they prefer. All the departments work together to make this a great place for our residents.

Irondale is more than a job, it’s a big home! I love working here, I love all our amazing residents, and our loving staff (especially our dope activities department and wonderful social worker Bertha) A lot of things have been changing for the better recently. I hope I get to meet and care for your family like I would my own;)

EDIT- My review went from a 4 star to a 5 star review. My dad has been a resident here for the past few months. The nurses CNAs and the social workers here are such ANGELS on earth. Thank you for caring for my dad Vincent even though he’s a pain in the butt. Thank you so much from the bottom of my heart ❤️🙏 I’ll start with one negative incident that happened to my father is that a doctor wouldn’t call an ambulance for him because he was short of breath he needed to go to a hospital. Finally one of the nurses had to call for him and he did- he was in the hospital for about a week. Other than that- I feel like all the nurses are so awesome. Thank you for caring for my pops !

Been working here for 5 yrs now and I wouldn't change it for anything. I love my residents and my co workers. It really feels like a home here and not just a job.

This is a wonderful place to work! It is more like home than a facility to the residents. The staff is amazing and care deeply for the residents. It's more than a job. It feels like home.
