I can’t say enough about Jana! Our daughter has trisomy 18 and she hit a plateau, we found Jana and our daughter immediately connected with her and Jana has gotten her to do more than she has ever been able to do and she enjoys it! She’s never enjoyed therapy before. She pushes her in the best way and has given her so much. Jana is so personable and treats us like family. 100% recommended her!

Jana is an exceptional OT. She takes the time to train, learn new and innovative techniques and she will literally change your child's life! Jana has such a great rapport with the children she works with and the parents too. She is extremely patient and allows kids to be kids during her sessions, while still creating an environment that is conducive to expanding whatever skill that the child is working on. I am beyond impressed with her expertise. 💕

Words can't express the experience our daughter had at her intensive with Jana! We did not know what to expect, and there was so much anxiety around the unknown. In short, we were able to see our daughter be stretched, be cuddled and be cheered for, in a way that we have not experienced! Jana's passion and expertise gave me confidence that I've been searching for as a parent to do things at home to show my daughter a new normality around movement and fun throughout her day.

We were referred to Jana by our lactation consultant when my 8 week old baby began showing signs of possible tongue and lip ties and was having trouble nursing. Jana was able to confirm the diagnosis, show us how to work on suck training at home, refer us to a pediatric dentist, and help with post-release recovery. Thanks to her, baby now nurses like a pro! I am SO thankful to Jana for helping us achieve our breastfeeding goals and would recommend her to anyone in need of help with infant feeding!!

We spent a lot of time trying to find a therapist that was motivating to our T-18 daughter. Iron City OT has been the only one that we found that has been personable enough that our daughter will be not just cooperative, but eager. After just two sessions we saw more improvement than we had seen with half a year of sessions with other therapy institutions. The sessions are intense, but our daughter is never pushed beyond what she is capable of doing. She is visibly proud of herself when she accomplishes a tough task with Iron City OT, which is a far cry from the disgruntled and unhappy faces she would pull while at her previous sessions. We are very grateful to have found this therapist, wish they would have been recommended to us vice stumbling across them via our own research, and we are extremely proud of the progress our child has been making here!

Jana is a passionate, experienced and a very knowledgeable OT. My son had a wonderful experience during his first intensive. He gets excited when he knows we are going to see Mrs. Jana for therapy. We are so thankful that a friend recommended her to us. Her private office is easy to access and convenient to the interstate.

Iron City OT has been amazing for our family! Our toddler needed some help integrating his reflexes, gaining confidence and working on his motor skills. He’s been thriving since we began working with OT and before we felt like he was frozen and it was taking a long time to learn new skills. Jana is very skilled at helping children of all abilities to thrive and reach new levels of functionality! I cannot recommend her enough!

We are so glad to have Jana as a part of our son’s therapy team! We have seen wonderful growth and progress in our son, but we also appreciate Jana’s positive attitude and patience. Jana’s rapport with our son is a huge part of his success, but she also brings a unique perspective.
