I recently completed a 2nd round of therapy at Riverton PT for a 2nd knee surgery. My experience both times was outstanding; from the efficient admin staff who handled the insurance red tape, to the helpful therapists' assistants, and most specifically with therapist JORDAN WOOD, DPT, a very skilled professional who was always kind and friendly, immediately putting me at ease. A welcome thing to someone in the vulnerable process of recovery. My sessions were never rushed, with Jordan taking the extra time to answer my many questions. I never felt like "just another patient", a rare thing in today's medical world. With Jordan's exceptional treatment and his guidance for a home exercise program, I'm confident I will accomplish a successful and complete recovery.

I have 2 knee replacements this year. Tyson Wing and his team helped me recover on the second surgery. I would recommend Riverton Hospital Physical Therapy to everyone. They all knew my name when I would go in and made my recovery working them very personal and educational !! Thank you team Tyson.

I'd give 6 out of 5 if I could. I had Tyson Wing as a PT. The whole group including Tyson are extremely personal and friendly both with talking to and more importantly working through therapy. They made custom home exercise programs that worked for me. I have had a herniated disc for 6.5 years and after 2.5 months of PT with Tyson and company I have been in the best health since I injured my back. I did a triathlon with no problems.

I was really discouraged with nerve pain in my arms and legs. I worked with Jordan. Awesome therapist. My symptoms are improving and now I feel hopeful. Front desk staff was great as well. I feel I now have the tools to manage my condition. Very responsive to feedback as well. highly recommend

DO NOT go here. PT (Jordan) is a good guy but the business side of the Riverton PT office is the worst. You will be overcharged and no way to dispute. I went 5-6 times. The first couple of times only spent with a PT and charges seemed okay (about $65). After that I was double and tripled charged.....for a shorter visit than prior. The reason is that they charge in increment time (with minimums that are far more that what they spend) spent with PT or doing the therapy even it is just using a stick and some young none PT watching you.....many times this is for the same 15-20 min period because of how it gets recorded. Nothing you can do.......got charged over $285 for a 20 min visit and only spent 10 mins with a PT. No heat, No ice....just 10 mins with a PT and 10 mins using a stick and a young person with no medical training watching and counting to 10. They don't tell you that this is going to cost you 2-3X more than your last visit......just record and let the billing and records office deal with you later.....and they will not change or make any adjustments. They just tell you to pay or go to collections. They should have to disclose to you the cost of each thing they are going to do during your visit and make sure you understand prior to the services (kind of like when you get your car fixed)......instead it is a simple agreement that you agree to be billed. You can go to a number of other places with much better therapy and more personable for $50-60 a visit and you will get 60 mins of attention to your recovery.

Referred to the Physical Therapy part of the hospital by my doctor, though Intermountain is out of network. Because of that I tried to get an idea of the cost before hand and was given an estimate around $75 per visit and I needed 3 visits expecting to pay around $200-300 and to use cash instead of insurance. Once I was billed the cost was about $700 for 3 visits. I submitted a dispute of charges to no avail and because it was so much I decided to go through my insurance and they removed the cash discount and claim since my provider isn't in network that they won't consider their "reasonable and customary charges" for the services billed. Basically they can perform the services and bill me a couple months later the highest amount possible and I am obligated to pay. They are unwilling to negotiate the price or tell me the costs upfront, which when I was originally paying cash and not dealing with insurance they should be able to do.

After tearing my ACL, I knew therapy would be important. Therapy is not fun, but working with Jordan and his team allowed me to progress back to optimal conditions. I appreciated Jordan's capability of keeping me grounded and at the same time, pushing me so that I might be able to return to sports activities.

I highly recommend Riverton Physical Therapy especially Tyson. He takes the time to explain everything, and answers all your questions. If you're recovering from surgery, Riverton PT is a good place to run too!
