Intermountain Health Physical Therapy & Rehabilitation - Holladay Clinic

Let me first say physicians and staff get 5 stars. Honestly I really appreciate all of them and they have done a lot for my recovery. However the facility is in need of some equipment upgrades. The remodel is a nice refresher. The equipment gets 2 stars they have the bare basics for therapy. They are really needing at minimum an anti-gravity treadmill especially since they are an ortho clinic. The hospital should really consider investing in up to date machines that benefit the patients as much as they invest in a remodel to match their rebranding. They are well staffed and busy it would be beneficial for treatment for each room to be equipped with commonly used items so that the therapists aren’t having to constantly locate an item they need and patients aren’t left waiting because there isn’t enough when everyone has a patient. I’m not talking about waiting on the large machines but every day and commonly used items in the rooms like dry needling with stim machines. Also it’s difficult to get a timely appointment if you do not book out far in advance. It feels like they over book without room for urgent appointments like other clinics offer, they could definitely use more space or an expansion of some sort. Honestly I stay for the staff, they are extremely knowledgeable and have the patients interest and recovery at the fore front. My situation is extremely complex and I have never felt like an issue or a burden or pushed to the side. If the equipment was up to par this clinic would be a solid 5 stars. 7/12/2024 I am adding this and lowered the stars, because when I reached out to the comment below I was sent a generic email. The staff is still amazing but if a company asks for a response from someone and the person takes time to respond it would probably best better practice not to treat it like a generic email. 7/13/2024 Intermountain did follow up with a call so I changed it back to three stars. I am hopeful that they understand the need for up to date equipment and not over booking their staff. Would love to give more stars in the future if changes are made.

Mary Cooley is seriously the best. She helped me through my post operative recovery and was a life saver. You won't find a better physical therapist for miles around. Very professional and kind. She kept me involved in my care and explained the "why" behind my therapy. I couldn't have made the progress I did without her. ❤️
