I have been a patient of Christine's for about eight years. A coworker first told me about Christine and her unique physical therapy (PT) treatments, which initially worked wonders in relieving the pain and tightness in my back and neck. Over the years I have received Christine's physical therapy for other various aches and issues with my body. My periodic "maintenance" treatments keep my body from reverting to the condition it was eight years ago. Most recently, I returned home on Friday after attending a three-day work conference in Chicago where I had to sit for eight hours each day (in horrible chairs) with very few breaks; my body was very tight in several places. On Monday I received my Christine PT treatment and my body is much better, and I have been getting a good night's sleep each night. Christine is a very caring therapist who has helped me to manage the source of my body aches and issues. I will not go to another physical therapist after being treated by Christine.

I have been a patient of Chris Powell's for several years. Her work is unique and has been much more effective for me than any other physical therapy I have tried. She has been able to release a lot of long held tension in my back from many years of basketball & golf. As a consequence my posture improved so much that friends started asking me what I did to make that happen. I have referred numerous people to Chris. All of them have been impressed with the results they achieved. I cannot recommend her work highly enough.

I started seeing Christine Powell for physical rehabilitation about 6 years ago. I had just recently retired from professional sports. I had been a professional athlete for 12 years and My body was tired and had developed many compensating movements from injuries over the years. Christine Powell was understanding of the athlete I was and the amount of stress I had put myself through for many years. She also being an accomplished athlete herself understood completely what I was going through and she applied her knowledge of training as an athlete with Her extensive education and experience as a healer. She is the best I have experienced for recovery from major/minor injuries . She is compassionate, caring, though, qualified and experienced to bring people beyond their pain and physical struggle ...of coarse with time. I was suppose to have a multitude of surgeries to correct anatomical obstructions but instead I decided to give holistic physical therapy a Try .... She came highly recommended by another physical therapist I was seeing..... I am almost beyond my physical disfunction and I am so grateful to Dr Powell for her constant care and expertise to bring me beyond any surgery. After a few sessions with Dr Powell I knew I would work beyond My pain . I now refer all My clients to Her that are In need of moving beyond their physical ailments I cannot speak highly enough about Christine Powell and how she has treated me with utmost care from the beginning til now. Blessings always Kelly

Christine has a rare combination of exquisite precision in her analysis and a tender , generous intuition in her gentle but powerful bodywork. She draws on such a wide palette of skills! I think of myself as being pretty body aware, but she found imbalances that I didn't know existed and was able to gently make corrections. I am truly blessed to be under her care.

Christine is a professional and really cares about her patients. She has helped me immensely with my neck, chest and shoulder pain that I had after surgery. She's also helped me with other areas of pain and places where I get tweaks from daily living and keeping bad posture and habits in general. I refer everyone to her because she has helped me so much. The peope i refer to her tell me she has changed their lives. She is awesome!

I have been a patient of Chris's for a few years and she is absolutely wonderful. She has helped me with chronic tension, migraines, stress, among other things, even with pain from a knee surgery from 20 years ago. She is so warm and kind and very thorough. She really gets to the root cause of an issue. I'm basically migraine free thanks to her and all she's done for me. She is the BEST! HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

In 2018, a routine colonoscopy left me with sepsis, major life-saving surgery and excellent traditional physical therapy for 8 months. While the PT was helpful, I was still not “back to normal” and did not have full range of motion in my left hip and had intermittent discomfort… for the ensuing three years. Christine at Integrative Therapeutic Flow was referred secondarily by my DO (more on that later). She is very knowledgeable, solicitous and explains everything in detail. I now know more about anatomy and how the human body works than had I attended an Anatomy 101 class :) Before this I thought traditional PT was the only option. When I revisited my orthopedist in August of last year, he shrugged and said “Yes, you likely have nerve, muscle or soft tissue damage… or all three” then he referred me to the practice’s DO as the x-ray showed nothing. She repeated the above and said, “I can give you a PT prescription but that’s about it.” I was willing to try it again if only to stop hearing "why are you limping?" on a daily basis. Then as an aside she asked, “How do you feel about alternative methods?” Alternative?! Alternative is my middle name!!! And (THANKFULLY) that is how I found Christine. She is a single practitioner in a shared office space. The waiting area is lovely and has a water dispenser (bonus!). Her room is clean and so serene. The relaxing background sounds are, well, relaxing. The intake was quite thorough and then I was on the table. She discovered my left leg was about ½” shorter than my right as a result of the trauma. From first day I have NEVER limped again. I won’t bore you with more details. Suffice it to say that I have gone weekly (my choice not a requirement) and my life has forever changed. Please read the side note and know there is an amazing alternative to traditional physical therapy… Integrative Therapeutic Flow. SIDE NOTE: Back in August of 2021, when I was Googling “manual physical therapy” I found the below (paraphrased): While all physical therapists have the option to use manual therapy in their practices, many don't spend the time or the resources to become efficient in this area of practice. Patients should be aware that it is a lesser-known physical therapy technique among physicians and may not be as commonly prescribed. Also, many of the conditions that practitioners treat with manual therapy are not demonstrated with imaging or lab tests but rather during motion testing and treatment, and therefore insurance company reimbursement may be limited.
