Choosing IPS for my back and knee pain care has been a great decision, I've just completed two months of thorough and intensive rehab and I am greatly improved. My sleep, work, exercise, social and overall quality of life all significantly better as my pain is reduced. My functional mobility is increased and I have now returned to my beloved yoga, Pilates and strength training all with greater ease and motion. I'm excited to continue to see improvements as I work with all I've learned in physical therapy.

Everyone is so friendly at first but when I have asked for a copy of my bill since January and to refund for the unused treatments no one seems to be able to get back to me. They ordered braces and things I really didn't need and each time they just said it's ok your insurance covers it. I ended up paying quite a bit out of pocket and didn't get the results they all promised.

When I first came in I had pain for going on 4 years. Several lower back pain and hip pain. Anything I did movement wise I'd had dull, aching and even shooting pain. Im 75% better and it's only been appointments. Most go in twice a week I can only do once a week and I drive almost 3 hours to them. I havnt this good in a very long time. My pain is significantly less almost gone. Im so glad I cam here and so greatful to the staff here.

I am so disappointed. I called to see if they can administer steroid injections for pain relief because my sciatica is excrutiating. They said yes and got me in same day. They did a bunch of physical examinations and had me do various positions to essentially sell me on the fact that I have a long list of problems other than just the sciatica. Fine. And I believe in long term PT but I was there an hour and a half and had to ask again for something to alleviate the pain. They told me they cant do steroid this time but next visit they would. They said they would go over my treatment options next visit and it may be costly. It felt very salesly because of the typical questions like “if i had a magic wand what would you want out of life with no pain, etc etc” Come to find out they cant do certain injections like steroid because it requires a doctor. As “pain specialists” I am so disappointed I wasted an hour and a half and still left without any relief. I called my primary doc and he arranged for a steroid injection for me. Go that route instead if you need immediate pain relief. Also their “free consultation” is not free. They billed my insurance so now i have to be careful about starting care elsewhere.

Everyone is nice here, however their follow up practices and moving forward is horrible. My last visit here was about 6-7 months ago and I have not heard from anyone in that office for follow up or even for a lab to move forward as I still have issues. You would think that there would be more customer service care when the patient pays everything out of pocket. After $5000+ out of pocket pay I am still in pain. Even after I took the initiative to force them to have a follow up and review with me after my treatment they still lacked the decency to reach out with a new treatment plan. I should have listened when I read reviews stating that this place was just after your money.

“It was a painful process for me, but the people who work here will take away your pain. They will check you right away with no more referrals outside the clinic. In my two years of taking medication for pain relief with my previous doctor, nothing happened. When I had a conversation with the doctors here, my hopelessness instantly changed. Their smiles while I was complaining made me realize that they believed I could return to normal.”

::UPDATE:: Sadly, I’m updating my review due to a transactional approach to their billing and marketing of their services. I’m still trying to work things out with them, but if you do business with IPS, make sure you have them bill your insurance and don’t have them set you up with CareCredit financing. They led me to believe that my insurance (United Healthcare) would 1. Take long to be processed and approve my plan, and 2. They led me to believe that they weren’t providers for UHC, both were false. I ended up paying about 60% more for my care plan via CareCredit. I’ll update as the situation progresses. Side Note: Their doctors and staff are amazing, and my review has nothing to do with the actual care. === I’ve suffered from lower back pain for over 1 year. In 6-8 short weeks I’ve noticed amazing results. I recommend connecting with these folks prior to seeing a medical doctor. Friendly, supportive and so professional.

I was on Facebook when the video about the services offered by the Integrated Pain Specialists. The next morning I called the clinic for an appointment. My reason for visiting this clinic was because I had severe neuropathy on both feet and both hands. During the conversation with Wayne (employee at IPS), he asked to take a picture of my feet with a special phone. When he showed me the images of my feet and explained what the colors meant. I was very concerned, the next step would have been amputation. However, Wayne was very positive. He said we can fix this. It did not take anymore convincing on my part, my mind was set on fixing my neuropathy problem. I met with Sam (PA), for an evaluation and assessment of my pain levels. On my second visit, I met with Dr. McArthur who conducted the final evaluation and informed me I had been accepted and will welcome the opportunity to help me return normalcy back in my life. Long story short, I am on the last week of my treatments. My neuropathy has completely been fixed just like Wayne told me. My goal was to be well and follow the guidelines and continue my treatments at home. I went in because of severe neuropathy on both feet and hands. I had no idea I was a broken person. I discovered the severity of my Sciatica, I was shown how to alleviate the pain. I discovered from my neck to the bottom of my feet were seriously in need of treatment. Treatments were provided for each area of my body I labeled it was painful. I was shown the type of stretches that will help in my quest to be well. I did not know I had trigger points that needed to be treated until I met Sam (PA).1 will honestly say I will be forever grateful for educating me about trigger points. The best part of my treatments are the chiropractic adjustments provided by Dr. MacArthur and Dr. Despain. They carefully evaluate me before the adjustments begin. The final treatment is the Speedster Machine, for me it is the binding clue for all my treatments. My sincere gratitude to the entire staff of Integrated Pain Specialists, you made my journey to being well and rejuvenated worth it. If I had to do this all over again, I will without hesitation.
