I'm disappointed with this facility. After days of communication, I'm left feeling as if the management and staff of this office is subpar at best. The staff member I spoke with was argumentative and wildly dismissive. I reached back out the original staff member I was speaking with via email about my interaction and of course got no response. This is one of many examples of why it is hard for people to reach out for help. Every interaction matters when you're dealing with people's mental health.

Love going here! This place is so kind and the environment is so welcoming. I have the best therapist who I love going to see, she always makes me feel comfortable and helps me through everything. Brooke is amazing and I cannot recommend her enough!! She gives me things to do outside of sessions to practice and work on and it has helped me tremendously. If you’re looking for someone to talk to I highly recommend Brooke!!

I started coming to IBH a few months ago. The staff is so nice, always greeting people with a smile. The psychiatrist I see listens to what you have to say and works with you to find what works best for you. The counselor is amazing. So friendly. I also feel heard by her. She listens and doesn't make you feel 'rushed' or blown off. I love IBH and definitely recommend coming here!

Review Update: Just wanted to return and give an update. I'm changing the 1 Star to 5 Star because IBH has made this right for us. We are starting with a clean slate and they deleted the no show charge against my account. Thank you to the young woman who helped us resolve this issue. We will also do our part on our end to to not be late and do better. You're appreciated.

$50 charge for being 1 minute late & have to show up earlier than your appointment time but you still won’t be seen 20 sometimes 30 minutes after your appointment time ..

This practice lied to us about taking our insurance, and consistently charged us late fees for appointment times we were on time for (standing in line waiting for the office staff counts as not on time). The office manager openly mocks patients and lies about calling patients back and forwarding them to billing. The worst was when after a series of cancellations due to my physical health, they told me they’d need to talk to my counselor to see if she would continue working with me. I accepted this consequence, but I kept calling back to see if they had made a decision, never got any callbacks. When I finally got a hold of them, my counselor had left, and IBH immediately dropped me as a patient. It was clear they had waited until I had no advocate to drop me. I relied on them for medication management, too, and was not allowed to continue working with the doctor to get my meds. The ensuing months were hell, I had a seriously dangerous reaction to being pulled off lamictal with no notice. I loved my counselor, Julie, and Drs. Victoria and Chou changed my life with their support. I wish the office staff was better trained in how to do their jobs with a vulnerable population.

Professional staff is very good: knowledgeable, courteous, willing to listen & offer realistic suggestions to solve issues. Front desk staff, however, is horrible: they do NOT answer phone, letting it go to voice mail most of the time. Calls may or may not be returned within 58 hours; they need to be reminded that incoming calls are important since patients may need to make, reschedule or cancel appointments They are courteous in person, but only moderately helpful.

Actively try to make you feel heard and resolve or assist in your concerns. I see both the nurse and therapist and they both are so kind and considerate of me. The nurse helped me understand my diagnosis and helped me through the medical aspect where the therapist helped me to identify existing issues and my need for boundaries in my daily life. It wasn’t as awkward as it had been at other places and I feel more hopeful having them to rely on.
