Happy with therapy at my local facility but I was told I had two therapy appointments left by therapist when in fact I only had 1 due to visit limit with insurance. Don’t trust your therapist to tell you. Was charged at a self pay rate for last visit.

After a total knee replacement on February 28, 2022, I chose Indiana Physical Therapy for my therapy. I am so glad I did. I had a great experience working with the owner, Troy Smith. He is an excellent therapist and he knows what is best for his customers. He works you hard within your limits. He was a great motivator for me! I highly recommend Troy and am so thankful for his expertise.

Troy, the owner was great. My first experience with PT was three years ago as a result of my first shoulder replacement. That experience was horrible and I eventually stopped going. I had my second shoulder replacement 2 1/2 months ago and am happy to say Troy is a miracle worker. He is extremely knowledgeable in his profession. The mobility in my shoulder is excellent! I am so glad I found him and recommend him in a heartbeat! I find him very personable and will miss our early morning chats about life!

I was referred by my Ortho doctor for physical therapy due to a shoulder injury. I chose Indiana Physical Therapy due to the convenience of the location, and the reviews. The first day I came there, the receptionist was very accommodating, friendly, and was very patient with my questions and suggested a therapist based off of my particular situation. She referred me to a Physical Therapist named Jarred. When I first met him, he immediately made me feel comfortable and helped me relax as I was a bit nervous initially. I always showed up 5-10 mins early and never had to wait past my appointment time. Jarred always took his time with me showing me different exercises/stretches to help with my particular injury. He would change things up from time to time and give me "homework" with some resistance band/tapes, so there was no excuse to not do the exercises at home. I could see improvement and less pain within 3-4 visits, so I kept going and adhering to the plan that he had sat out for me. After approximately 6 weeks, I had no more shoulder pain, and that is still the case today approximately 3-4 months later. I highly recommend Indiana Physical Therapy, especially Jarred at the Lahmeyer Rd location, and should I have any further injuries or discomfort, I will be returning to this location and requesting this therapist.

I came in on my first visit in quite a bit of pain. Jarred asked alot of questions to understand my pain. With only a couple weeks of therapy, I am almost pain free with the ability to play a sport twice a week. If you need physical therapy, I encourage you to try Indiana Physical therapy. It is a fun atmosphere with a very friendly staff that makes you feel very comfortable.

Lori S provided tremendous care during my weeks of OT. She listened to my concerns, adapted treatment, and offered suggestions for exercises and stretches each time that allowed my body to heal and strengthen itself quickly. Her gentle style and encouraging manner made me believe I could do what was needed to get better. I "graduate" knowing that I've learned new skills and techniques to care for my aging self and adjust to keep my joints, tendons, and muscles healthy!

I had a very bad experience with Troy Smith at Indiana Physical Therapy on Lahmeyer Road. Troy showed no sympathy or empathy at all. He was very unprofessional. He did help with my range of motion, but was unable to help with my headaches. At the beginning of a session Troy asked how I was feeling. He then scoffed at me when I told him my symptoms were worse because I was emotional. Why was I emotional? It was the day after Mother's Day. The first Mother's Day I had after losing my mom. My diagnoses was post concussion syndrom with chronic headaches. That Mother's Day was almost impossible. Later during the same visit I tried to explain the exact location in my head that I was feeling the most pain. He said to me, "you haven't convinced me that anything is wrong with you." I immediately shut down and lost all respect for him. Not to mention I had uncontrollable tears rolling down my face, which intensified my pain. I requested a different therapist but he denied my request. I finished the physical therapy ordered by my PCP. I then found another professional that was actually professional. He helped reduce and almost illuminate my headaches. Shame on Troy Smith and Indiana Physical Therapy.
