We love this place!! They are so friendly and the facility is clean and always smells good. Beautiful decorations. Nice places to sit and wait. Peaceful environment. The staff are excellent and very kind & sympathetic. It is easy to make appointments and they work well with your schedule. Their sign in system is so easy & user friendly. We LOVE them and will always recommend them!

My son & I love it here! He loves coming for speech and occupational therapy. His speech has gotten better and so has his self care skills & writing. It's hard to get him to leave. Everyone there is friendly. Even when I have been not the best at keeping my scheduled appointments they work with you & the vibes never turn sour because I had to cancel last minute. They treat my son with lots of care & respect. As a single parent to a child with autism It's great having someone to actually help celebrate these goals with & motivate us to improve consistency! To us they are somewhat like family.🙂

The receptionist is very unprofessional. She is very comfortable saying anything. This placed needs to be shut down. They don’t clean after every client. I promise call and talk to the receptionist about the second or third time you will understand what I’m referring too . First time possible could be good. She can’t read properly to pronounce a name. The doctors can’t do simple math. They score your child way low so they can get more money out and suggest frequent visits. Get a second opinion. They don’t offer at home therapy. Being that it’s winter coming up they should offer it;knowing they don’t sanitize properly. Good luck

I love ideal therapy & all the staff. My daughter has been going there for about 8 months & we already see so much progress. Her therapist's Deshia, Morgan, nigel & cameika are the best !!!

I wouldn’t trust their judgment doing any assessment. Ideal therapist cannot do simple math regarding gestured age. Children health care of Atlanta Druid hills location did a motor skills test. Ideal Therapy did the same test to see how much therapy would be needed. Once or twice a week. Ideal therapy scored my child way lower than children healthcare of Atlanta . I asked the scorer why would the scores be different from another location that was a days prior. She stated that it was two different test being taken. So I asked what’s the name of the test you are taken which she stated alberta infant motor scale. I called children health care of Atlanta and asked what’s the name of the test they have taken. They preformed 3 different test which the one that requires her to need physical therapy is called alberta infant motor scale and they scored her correctly. While scoring her children health care of Atlanta had 2 nurse practitioner and 1 physical therapist in the room vs Ideal Threapy just having only the physical Therapist . Worker of children healthcare gave me some better physical therapy to try out due to the lack of skills and knowledge Ideal Threapy has. Whoever answers the phone are rude and don’t know how to read/ pronounce words. She added letters to my daughter name and continuously getting her name incorrect after numerous times of correcting her. I understand mistakes but adding the letter N in her name is crazy. This place is unprofessional. Intentionly will score your child low in order to get more visit to receive more funds. Remember in order to keep a business running you have to manipulate numbers. They are all about the money in my opinion. I recommend paying attention,ask questions, and get another opinion. Also they didn’t let me use scissors because of how unsanitary their are. They don’t clean their equipment PROPERLY! Please clean your EQUIPMENT. Children are Near ! Runnnnnnnn fast . I’ve never experienced anything so unprofessional in my LIFE! They could tell we wasn’t coming back . So unkept !

EDIT TO ADD JULY 2ND 2024 OWNER ANSWERS REVIEW AND SAYS SHE WISHES GOOD THINGS BUT WONT RELEASE MEDICAL RECORDS OUT OF PURE SPITE AND GREED Like the other lady said in the reviews just not a good place for services. I want to start out by saying the owner told me word for word. I care more about my employees than my clients. I asked her about the review left on the better business bureau of course she states that its false and the lady came to them begging for services back. I don't believe that for a second. I'm guessing she is saying everyone is lying about the bad reviews. I will be leaving my own review with the better business bureau. She also told me on the phone she has problems with a lot of parents. I could go on and on about their HORRIBLE COMMUNICATION about appointments and scheduling. Amanda the office manager is very rude and for some reason the owner lets her do or say whatever she wants. I'm guessing because she cares more about her than any client. I'm not sure the relationship between the owner and Amanda but something is strange about how she takes up for her. Her name (AMANDA) is in most of these reviews. I'm pretty sure what she did was against the law. When i addressed it with the owner she made excuses that made no sense whatsoever to defend her in the situation. Whether people refer to her as such or "office manager" One day she held my child from me while i was sitting there watching her. i sat there for 15 minutes watching her try and hide from me. SHE HELD MY CHILD. I read another review where she (AMANDA) held ANOTHER CHILD HOSTAGE. SHE WILL HOLD YOUR CHILD FROM YOU. Unfortunately I did not know much about ASD or therapy before I sent my child here (he had been just recently been set up for diagnosis appointment) and they had availability. They cant keep staff we've seen tons of staff and families come and go. Past therapist have spilled beans to us about how dysfunctional they are as a company. We had one therapist stay with us the rest have not been there more than a year. We had a great BCBA that left. We had a wonderful therapist Ms. Sandra until she to disappeared and never came back. Cambridge said she was and it never happened. Hmmmm. I have witnessed a lot of leaving with this company. We knew another issue would come. We have prepared for it. Unfortunately they will miss out on my child. Please do not sign up with ideal. It will be a whirlwind of problems when you already have it hard as a parent. The families that were there when we left were not there that long and probably will not be. Amanda will do anything she can to have it her way or the highway and its sad because of that owner (Cambridge) will never have a honest successful business. She will have a revolving door of customers and staff and it will stay that way. A word of advice keep moving there are much better clinics for your child that communicate in a much more effective manner. My son also could of benefited from more hours. They do not have enough staff to accommodate that. Every other ABA CLINIC I have toured offered my son more hours. 0 stars for me

If I could give 0 stars for professionalism I would. This place of business clearly cares about the money and not having the patient in mind. Received several phone calls regarding my insurance well over a week before my appointment for my son along with several reminders that if I did not fill out intake forms 48 hours before the appointment it would have to be rescheduled. I filled out the paperwork a WEEK before the scheduled appointment. Not even 24 hours before the appointment I got a voicemail stating the appointment had been cancelled and to call and reschedule the appointment. When I called to inquire on what was going on, I was informed our insurance was no longer in contract with the facility so they cancelled the appointment since I was unable to answer the phone. I stated on the phone I had no problem paying the $250 cash pay price for the appointment that was quoted only after I asked and we would still be there. I was informed that my son’s appointment time was given away and no longer available. In the papers that I had already signed and submitted in advance that was asked of me, it was already clearly stated that insurance benefits are not a guarantee and we would be responsible for any other costs associated. Obviously I was aware of this due to me signing the papers asked in advance. It was EXTREMELY unprofessional to cancel an appointment without speaking to the patient first to determine what was going on. I called back within 3 hours of getting the phone call. If you are going to set high expectations and constantly remind patients of a $50 cancellation/no show fee…..have the same respect for your patients/future patients. This was completely unprofessional and not handled in an ethical manner.
