I have had to stay here overnight with my now 10 year old son twice, most recently a few days ago. I was very happy with the kindness and helpfulness from all of the staff that took part in helping with Cameron and making sure he was happy and comfortable to the best they could, all while getting him better🥰🥰🥰 They treated us like family💖 P.S. I also should mention they did all of that even though they had every room filled with a patient. We even had to wait just a couple hours for a room to open up for Cam because of how full they were and probably still are. You guys rock!!!😍

I loved my experience each time I visit Huntsville Women Children’s. My care team is always attentive and they care about what I have to say. I always get a wonderful group of listeners . They take into consideration your concerns and follow through with the appropriate treatment plan. They address any and all concerns . Thank you once again for taking care of us ! My room was clean and well stocked . The nursing staff was very sweet and attentive . The nursing team was compassionate and they really kept my son comfortable. They were able to perform necessary tasks all while making him comfortable and giving him re-assurance, during his overnight stay . My son is just a baby but, he smiled at every nurses that came into his room in room 471. The only thing I would change is how they start an IV on a youngster. I would like to see them numb the IV site before proceeding to stick the babies . My baby’s veins run deep like Mom’s . And the nurses had to dig and stick him 3x. My baby was screaming in sheer terror and pain. I would like to see the IV placed differently and the site numbed ! Other than that , things went smoothly . I will be back ! Nice facility ! Very professional staff.

I had a total abdominal hysterectomy on 10/24/2024 and stayed at Women and Children hospital for 2 days on the 3rd floor. My apprentice nurse, Courtney, was a sweetheart!!! All this time I thought she already had her nurse credential but she was doing her clinical. That’s just how great she was! My other nurse, Bonnie, was funny and so down-to-Earth. The other nurses were good as well but those two (2) were EXCEPTIONAL!!! Also, a big shout out to the tech, Shannon, who took my vitals during her shift Friday/Saturday. She was so sweet! Now, I will point out the obvious which is the nursing staff shortage but I do understand the challenge of staffing nurses right now. Even though they were short-staffed I still had my calls answered in a timely manner. Other than that, I had a pleasant visit! Many blessings to all the nurses and keep up the wonderful work! ❤️

Such a great experience! I delivered my second child here and from the call the day before to go over when to arrive and details before to getting discharged everything was amazing! The whole staff was very thorough and during my c section they made sure that I knew everything that was happening and explained it well! In recovery and mother baby everyone was so nice and made sure we had everything we needed. Discharge was very thorough with all next steps and what to expect and even tips to help the transition with a toddler at home and a baby and how to involve my toddler safely with the baby. Especially after having a semi-traumatic delivery with my first at a different hospital this delivery was amazing and I will never forget the care the whole team took for me and my baby!

The staff before and after surgery were absolutely amazing! Hannah, Kate, Susan, Erica, Summer, just all of them that attended to me as i went thru a difficult surgery were so kind and loving. Always a smile on their face and were very straight forward with information. The food staff were so sweet and understood that those coming out of surgery needed more time with their food and didn't rush to pick it up. I cant recall her name but the housekeeping staff member we saw was so pleasant and chatted with my husband and I about family and life. I felt so comforted here and got some of the best sleep of my life.

Our stay was absolutely amazing. The nurses were very attentive and just super sweet and caring. The food was good and the food service people were also amazing. This stay was awful as far as my daughter having a kidney stone and they just made it that much easier. I absolutely love the nurses on the fourth floor.

Everyone was great!! I had surgery and had to stay overnight. Everyone from the nurses to the techs, food service, and custodians were all so nice and sweet to me. I have to say Kate and Courtney were so sweet and took their time with me and made sure if I needed anything to call them and when I did they were there.

From arrival to discharge, we had a great experience at HH W&C. We are first time parents and they talked us through everything gently and answered all of our questions thoroughly. Processing in and out was very easy. The team (nurses, techs, doctors, staff) there is truly 5-star and have a great team energy!
