Worst experience ever. My son was assigned to one therapist and has been working with him to grow his motor skills. Jacob is amazing and he always goes the extra mile to help my son reach his mile stones. My son built a strong relationship with the therapist for over one year; and one day, we were notified that my son will be seeing a new therapist. We were surprised of such unexpected change because we loved working with this therapist. A new therapist assisted my son and I noticed that my son's motivation began declining. In fact, after communicating with one employee, I was notified that the owner had decided to switch my son's time slot with another family who would be paying "more money for services." I became very upset of this news and contacted the owner. I called Hummingbird and one of the employees claimed to be the owner of the facility when in fact she wasn't (seemed that she wanted to give me a short answer and avoid me ) . I then finally got in contact with the owner in writing , asked her why one of her employees falsely claimed to be the owner and she completely disregarded my request. In the end I was finally able to get my son to see his old therapist. This facility seems sketchy. It seems as though they are hand picking children over others . In the end I was never given a solid / accurate response as to why my son's time slot was affected. I would strongly recommend giving your business to an actual ethical institution.

We had a wonderful experience at Hummingbird for Speech Therapy for our toddler. She started when she was 21 months old and she graduated from speech 26 months old (we went for 6 months). We had Marissa as our therapist and she was so patient and kind to our daughter. We were happy to have succeeded with the therapy, but sad to be done working with Marissa. All the therapist seemed wonderful whenever they had to fill in. I strongly recommend this therapy office as they are very integrative with their approach; they diagnose and prescribe an appropriate individualized therapy plan.

My son attended feeding therapy at Hummingbird for several months. While he's too young (1 year) to tell us his opinion, I can attest that our therapist, Marissa, worked hard to make him feel comfortable and get him eating a variety of foods. Moreover, she taught ME a lot - both of us picked up knowledge and skills that will serve us well as he continues to grow and encounter new foods. We are deeply grateful to Hummingbird and would go back in a heartbeat if we encounter another issue.

We love Hummingbird! Its a wonderful place with facilities unlike any other— the gyms alone are so great— but what makes it stand out are the therapists that work there. Every single person we’ve worked with has a love for their job and the kids they work with, and it shows. We’ve been lucky enough to have our OT, Brittney, be part of our family for the past two years. She’s extraordinary: compassionate, understanding, and collaborative. She’s the best kind of teammate for parents and caregivers. I am so grateful for the therapists we’ve worked with and everything we’ve learned from Hummingbird.

My daughter tried a SINGLE session of hippatherapy therapy. Yes, she had a rough first session, but even the therapist said it's common. Keep in mind my daughter had already done multiple horse back riding sessions through our special needs recreation department. They said they thought the horse was probably also too small after the session. (Not our fault). Fast forward less than a week and we get a call saying she can't participate anymore because of safety. Keep in mind NONE of this was articulated to me after the session. It was "it's okay, lots of kids have a hard first session. We will see you next week". Nope. They won't even try again. If your kid has behavior issues, don't count on hummingbird. Ridiculous experience.

Our son did a summer program last year with Hummingbird. Overall it went well. The staff is extremely friendly and goes over the top to work with families and their needs. Brittney Higgins has been exceptional with treatment for our son and how devoted she is!! This is absolutely the place to go for therapy for little ones and we're glad we found it!

Hummingbird and Ms. Marissa have had a tremendously positive impact on mealtimes at our home, and helping our daughter feel comfortable and safe with a variety of foods. Feeding therapy is definitely a commitment, but Ms Marissa made it easy by helping set goals, walking us through strategies, and making it fun for my daughter. Now that we have “graduated”, my daughter is able to try new foods without a fight, include more types of foods on her plate at mealtime, and feel overall less stressed about food. We are grateful for Hummingbird’s support and the relationship we built with Marissa. Thank you!!

From the outset they were warm, accommodating and simply there to listen and assess whether or not our son would benefit from their services. We have been blessed with seeing Miss Kaitlyn weekly and she immediately made a connection with our son and family and goes above and beyond to make his Occupational Therapy sessions fit who he is as a kiddo while addressing the underlying issues. She is kind, compassionate, a problem solver and gives us the best tools and advice to incorporate tactful strategies at home. We couldn't be happier here!
