I'm very happy with the service provided by the doctors, nurses and the administrative staff at Custer County Health Clinic. It's wonderful to get the care I need at our local clinic. I've seen Maria Shy several times and I think she is incredible as she always gives me the time needed to diagnose my problems. We have a pharmacy now and an Xray technician which cuts down on having to go to another town to pick up an RX or get an Xray.

I want to share what a great experience I had at this clinic. The staff were very friendly and accommodating, the provider (Maria) was top notch and I was able to get my prescription all in once place. Great job, team!

Really Zero πŸŒŸβ€™s πŸ™€ Absolutely the most willfully obstructive, pious, condescending, inept and egotistical behavior out of their primary PCP (a religiously dismissive D.O.). Complaints about willful obstruction to necessary referrals were met with a ban from the clinic by the prior director (retired now). Complaint filed with Colorado State Attorney General’s Office. Pathetic rural ineptitude. πŸ‘ŽπŸΌπŸ‘ŽπŸΌπŸ‘ŽπŸΌπŸ‘ŽπŸΌπŸ‘ŽπŸΌ

The clinic has so much to offer the small town of Westcliffe. Its doctors and staff are outstanding and very helpful! This clinic has improved by leaps and bounds in the last 2 years since it was taken over by HRRMC. It's truly is amazing at how much they do for the community!

I have had the best care from Maria and the whole team! Maria takes her time to listen to what is going on and always knows how to take care of everything. I would be lost without her. Thank you for all you do!

Actually no stars for this place! Dr. Schaler is the reason..I called feb.19 for him to call in a refill for a medication for my husband said they would call back to let me know if he called it in..heard nothing back ,no answer wed.when I called back called the pharmacy,he called it in, it's on back order can't get it til March 1, there is another med which is what he was using for years that they do have in stock, but schaler says thats not an option,i should call around see if we can find it somewhere else.pharmacy did that, schaler must get a kickback on pushing this med cause why can't he just give him the one hes always used, so now my husband has been suffering since feb.19 and have to wait til Friday the first unacceptable

If I could leave 0 I would. The only pro: you can generally get a same day appointment if you can actually get them to answer the phone. Schaler dismissed my mom's cancerous and very swollen and angry lymph node in her neck (stuck out about 3 inches) as fluid and sent her home. (Maria did order the test that found it, a few weeks later.) I went because I thought I had become anemic, and I thought I might of had a stomach ulcer. This apt I was told that I had "covid" nails, and that was dismissed immediately. But at least the nurse actually looked at my nails. Schaler did not. Nothing was really done for me. Schaler told me he thought it was celiac disease. He ordered a CT in Salida. CT apt was 4 weeks after the pain that I assumed to be an ulcer and causing what I assumed to be anemia had already stopped. No surprise nothing showed on the CT. Pain comes back. Another apt with schaler, same outcome as the first, he thinks it's celiac, orders blood work, sends me home no answers for the pain, prescribes bloop pressure meds. Blood works comes back and guess what......I'm anemic...still absolutely nothing for the pain I'm in, and my weight is irradic because i can't eat most of the time. Follow up apt after blood work, and finding out I'm anemic, I ask schaler for a mammogram, (he never put it in, or Salida decided I didn't need one) he did order a scope. (Scheduled that....it was for 4 months after the fact) I feel worse. Have about a 3 minute time frame of confusion, I couldn't form a sentence correctly. Make another apt. I end up seeing Maria. She had horrible bedside manner and was rude. She said "why are you even here?" You know, because me feeling like I'm slowly dying is a waste of her time. "You already have a scope, what is it you want me to do".....rude to me, but winked at the nurse. I'm anemic, and in pain, and weak, and having what felt like a stroke and that's how I was spoken to. She did order blood and urine. I got the blood results today. I have an infection, and the anemia is worse. I was told They don't know where the infection is and to go to the er if I feel worse, to go to the scope, and to follow up with schaler. I'm finding another doctors office. Will have nothing to do with these people again. I'll die first. Literally. And they would let it happen.

Due to on-going health issues that began with being hospitalized with Covid in Nov 2020 I have many appts at the clinic and I find all of their services to be outstanding. From the time I walk in the door, being greeted with a friendly smile and hello, until I walk out the door, I find everyone to be so very kind, considerate, friendly and helpful. Dr Stephens and Dr Wool are both great doctors and I am very pleased with their services. I can't say enough great things about the clinic and all of it's staff.
