I recently completed rehab for rotator cuff repair at Howard Head. During the 4 months post-surgery, Connor P. tailored a plan specifically for my needs and was always attentive to my progress. His positive attitude and encouragement made each session enjoyable, even when I was discouraged at my own progress. Thanks to his dedication, my shoulder strength and mobility have improved tremendously and I’m ready for the upcoming season on the mountain.

I have nothing but positive things to say about working with the team at Howard Head, specifically Connor P. He helped me navigate a return to running after a MPFL reconstruction. As a competitive trail runner, I needed therapy tailored to rebuilding functional strength, endurance, and gaining confidence to start running and racing technical trails again. As an aggressive athlete himself, Connor understands how to help athletes progressively load and strengthen in a responsible yet challenging way. I have since trusted Connor to advise on unrelated issues and would recommend him to any and all of my friends/fellow endurance athletes.

I've unfortunately done way too much PT in my life. Mountain lifestyle I guess. Working with Meghan has been awesome. She's friendly and knowledgeable and knows just how much to push. The rates seem the same as other PT places. I love having a new clean space with Howard Head in the mid valley.

I had a really great experience working with Connor Pokorney. He was very professional and extremely friendly. My injury was inhibiting me from doing anything in the mountains and Connor’s support was paramount to my confidence in getting back in shape.

If you are insured by RMH/United Healthcare do NOT use Howard Head. You will run into issues with getting coverage even though they say they are “in network”, there are major issues with billing because their main headquarters and billing department are at Vail Valley Health which is NOT “in network”. Insurance refuses to pay in full (around $700 plus per PT visit gasp!) even though I 100 percent met my deductible. Insurance says they paid contracted amount and I shouldn’t be charged for any more than that but VVH refuses to. Save yourself a headache and use Aspen Valley Hospital for PT.

I went to Howard Head for physical therapy. It’s in a new, modern building that’s nice. When I showed up there were lots of other people checking in and meeting with therapists. I met my PT, Connor Pokorney and he was great. He listened to me and explained what’s going on with my muscles and what to do to help. He started showing me exercises but was moving quickly and would only have me do exercises on one side cause he said there wasn’t enough time. The session was only 40 minutes so it went so fast and cost $165. It felt like a factory in their office. They were pushing in and out as many people as they could and it didn’t feel very personal or intimate. I decided to continue my PT with a different office that is cheaper, has 60+ minute sessions, and is more personal.
