10/10 experience, customer service, and price point. Some other reviews mention “dirty pools” which is not true at all. They explain in the lobby that this is silica(?) and it is good for skin/hair etc. lovely experience, lovely views. Highly recommend the day pass. It’s just a bit over two hours from Denver and there are lots of fun little towns to stop in for a meal/coffee, etc.

This review is in regards of the cleanliness of the hot springs. I’ve traveled to almost every hot springs in Colorado as am I local, and saved this one for last because I had such high hopes. Something must be done about the cleanliness, and I cannot believe they’re operating under these conditions. From fingernails to hair, to white pieces of calcium floating in every pool, there’s no filtration system at all. I was there for not even an hour had to leave. The smells consists of rotten eggs and piss, I couldn’t even relax. My swim suit and towel are currently on their 3rd cycle trying to get the scent out. When you go hot springs it’s normal to see things floating, but in every pool? It’s obvious that there is calcium scale deposits, but it is most likely white water mold. This place should be shut down until further notice. Please do better, people can get sick and have mentioned it in your reviews. Sincerely, Very disappointed.

My wife took me here on our first trip together when we started dating 17 years ago, so this place is special to me. We always go there when we take trips to Winter Park and Grand Lake. Kids love this place and are welcome. One time, when my youngest daughter was about six months old, she stayed in the pools all day long with me in the rain and was happy as can be. There's a free campground within a 5 minute walk and another campground within a 5 minute drive so you can camp and go hot springing. A true Colorado experience.

Saw Lynda for a massage today. It was amazing!! I felt so relaxed. Lynda is exceptionally friendly and made me feel so comfortable and welcomed. I enjoyed soaking in pools after. I highly recommend Lynda!

This review is just for the springs as we didn’t stay on the motel part. But it was all Kinda eh. You’re getting what you’re paying for. For 30 bucks it’s okay. But bathrooms there were pretty gross. They looked updated but there was hair and sludge all over the ground. Like no one went in and cleaned it all day. Also no hooks by the showers or in the stalls so your forced to put your stuff on the ground if your changing. The place it self was pretty run down. But mainly just old and in need of a new paint job. The pools them selves were a strong ok. Definitely avoid the smaller ones bc the dead skin and dirt floating around makes it look like egg drop soup. We had a nice time but the place wasn’t even that busy and every pool walked up to was at full capacity, besides like the three main ones. The other pools could probably only fit maybe 4 people or less and the smallest ones maybe 2. And as for the location it is very remote but the drive there is cool. Has a lot of potential but just seemed like it did the bare minimum to get by.

After summiting Mount Elbert the day before this was the perfect place to relax the legs. Jill at the reception gave a nice introduction of the facility also focusing that there is nothing added or removed from the water. It is how it comes out of the spring. There were many pools of different sizes and temperatures and after an hour of trying different ones I had a 30 min nap under a canopy before soaking some more. I was not disappointed by the sulphur smell which I actually like. Reminds me of Yellowstone geysers and as recommended I did not shower off at the end.

The pools are def not dirty like others have described. Def old and needs updating but not dirty as in bacteria. The hot springs are constantly flowing. The water is rich in minerals and it did not smell like others have described. I was very concerned but these were actually one of the best hot springs I’ve visited on my trip. The water itself and the fact that there are a bunch of mini pools that you can bathe in by yourself and relax without ppl yapping their heads off and ruining your chill. So this was the first time I actually got a full body relaxation without smelling chlorine and also the temperature was actually hot enough. The rooms were nothing special. They def need updating. The shower is good. The room had a misty funny odor so I opened the windows which need new screens and aired out the place. No mini fridge to keep anything cool so I kept my things cool in my truck. The trains passed by at least 4x over night. I basically did not sleep. The curtains on the window need updating. Overall I would not stay here overnight. It is not a resort.

Let me just tell you the way the water will make you feel the way the minerals will clear your mind. Your spirit and your body will be freshly renewed and wonderfully felt. Just woke up. Jewel and Tanya Kayla and Rachel were the best hostess I’ve seen and experienced in my life. I’ve been around many places seen a lot of things met a lot of people and the way that these people will make you feel you will feel like family, and you will feel at home. greatest stay and greatest visit, greatest vacation of all time.
