My son got a referral for speech therapy and was referred to this office. Originally I received a TEXT (not even a phone call) stating that there was a 6 MONTH WAIT LIST!!! And that if I wanted to wait I’d have to text back, now fast forward *almost right to the 6 month mark* they finally call me saying that there is an opening and set an appointment for Monday 11/25 at 11 and that I would receive a confirmation text the day before (I did not, my first red flag). I show up WITH MY SON! To this location only for the girl at the front desk to ask for my appointment time and look puzzled (second red flag) I wait at least 10 minutes before she finally responds and tells me that there is no appointment. While I’m in the office, after both my son and I have waited at least 30 minutes by now for that same girl to get her stuff together, I receive a call FROM HORIZON THERAPY WHILE IM PHYSICALLY STANDING IN THE OFFICE, and they tell me that his referral expired and he couldn’t be seen. They then proceed to tell me that “well if the girl is there she can see him really quick and see if the referral can get extended” (this would mean that my son would’ve had to have been seen those 6 months and that would have been his reevaluation to see if he needed more therapy!!!!!! BIG NO!!!!!!). Clearly this office doesn’t know what they’re doing, and if you’re actually concerned for your child DO NOT LET YOUR DOCTORS REFFER YOU TO THESE OFFICES!!!!! They were not helpful in any way, didn’t help my son, and gave me no information on how I could actually resolve the problem that they caused because they did not see my son immediately as they were supposed to instead of putting him on a WAITLIST for 6 MONTHS!!! Parents advocate for your children and do not come here. This is also not including the multiple calls I made to see if there were other openings or if they could prioritize my son since he’s waited so long already.

Front desk is kind, polite and helpful. She’s a great advocate for the patients. Ms. Arlene is my grandson’s therapist she is so great with him. She’s professional, ever so kind, respectful and empathetic to him. He has advanced so quickly with her. He continues to learn and use his skills. She gives us tools each week to continue to improve his ability in speaking and cognitive learning. I really like Horizon!

I just got referred to this place yesterday. I called 8 times to just make an appointment. Each time I called I was placed on an 10-30 min wait. I tried messaging them because on while I was waiting it said to message them at a number. I messaged and NO reply. It shouldn’t be this hard to just get and APPOINTMENT. called my sons pediatrician today to get another referral. Not working with you guys.

even if my insurance will cover 100%, they made me pay $75 on the day of visit despite asking them ahead of time if I need to pay for anything (although I knew it was covered 100%). They said nothing and surprise! they made me pay. And now 2 months later, still have not received a refund.

I have received excellent therapy service from Kim Kingsland on my hand, and have gained strength and grasp abilities because of her instruction! She is quite professional and knowledgeable and continues to check my progress and changes things as needed for better results…truly cares about my well being and healing! Just don’t judge a book by its cover (like I did the first day) because the office itself is cramped and “basic” but the service I got from Kim is what mattered, and I’d recommend her all day long!

My son has been receiving occupational therapy for a hand injury. We have been seeing Mrs Kim Kingsland. She has been very helpful from the beginning. She always listens to our concerns and answers our questions. We have been seeing her for a few months now, and I can say she is a great OT. I have witnessed her taking great care of her other clients as well, and always going above and beyond. She’s always such a joy, and time passes by so fast. We usually talk about food and life. We are definitely going to miss her when our sessions stop.

I submitted all paperwork for my son to be evaluated for OT as he was diagnosed with ASD level 3 and pediatrician recommended it and referred me to horizon therapy services After turning in all paperwork as requested I never heard anything. When I called they told me they had “staffing issues” and would return my call to set up evaluation in a week or two. after not hearing back i called again, the woman told me they aren’t making appointments because the therapists will be submitting vacation Time. Then she told me it would take at least 2 months to get the evaluation done and at least 4 months to be put on the schedule. I do understand the waiting list to start services but there was something very off putting about the evaluation taking so long because ALL THE THERAPISTS are taking vacation as well as being told “about staffing issues” on the first call, not to mention they didn’t contact me once after receiving my referral my sons paperwork or even my phone call where they said they would call in a week or so to schedule. After reading other reviews I have requested to change the referral to a different therapy provider.

Never got a chance to be seen here I scheduled my son's first OT evaluation here and they rescheduled me and sent me a confirmation for my appointment when I showed up they said I wasn't on the schedule and had to be rescheduled. It was an inconvenience for me cus I had to take time off work and drove from Riverside to make my appointment just to be told I couldn't be seen. I tried to talk to the manager Jennifer who was really rude and show little to no compassion and told me I had to be rescheduled she literally turned away as I was mid talking. I have never been treated like this anywhere! While I was in the waiting room I did notice another person frustrated with the front desk receptionist they seem to not value their patients and it could be cus I'm on medical but I felt so awful that they did this too me I felt discriminated. I was already rescheduled and they messed up so I didn't have trust in them anymore and fear for anyone trying to go here. This was my experience I hope this helps. It made me
